Okay, had to get this going again...meant to do it for September but just didn't get around to it.

I only track the misc money that I take out in cash. I am entitled to $20 a week for any miscellaneous expenses that come up and for little treats when we are out and about. Anything I don't spend at the end of the week gets tossed into the Disney jar, so naturally the less I spend on "whatever" the better!

Goal is 20 no buy days this month.

2/20

1st-$0
2nd-$0
3rd-$8 for son's fieldtrip, $1.70 on ice cream cone
4th-$3 for another fieldtrip for son
5th-$1 on juice boxes, $2 in the apple day can (son is a Cub), $1 in the Cadet can, hubby spent $5 on sausages, leftover change still in hubby's wallet (he took out an extra $20) :scared1:

Ugh! I prefer to only spend money on Thursdays (which is the day I run my errands) and the during the occasional outing but this was a ridiculously busy and expensive week! Since hubby bought mostly food with his $20, I'm going to take that from the food budget and use the remaining money accordingly.

I found out the more I stay out of the stores and take all the money out of my pockets it helps with the oh lets just stop here and here lol

good luck all there will be tons of spending got 14 days left till we go to "the fla"

So far I have done well this month. After last month I really need this.

Friday I spent $16 on a Groupon for one of my girls could take DS 11 to the rope course at Wonderworks we have been planning on taking him for months.

Today I spent $8 on a bag of books from the library sale. Mostly financial and business oriented for my 2 DDs who are taking a semester off from college and working. Last night DD 18 and I were disagreeing how long she should put her money in a CD for. I am hoping that I can get her into saving. Her brother a college senior and was excited to hear she had almost 50 hours at work last week. He told me that her wallet must be very happy.

6th-$0 (Sundays are easy...I never shop on Sundays!)
7th-$0 I know the day isn't over yet but I'm not going anywhere this afternoon or evening so I won't be able to spend

I'm in. My plan is to see how little of my $20/week allowance I can spend and to also track family spending on miscellaneous or impulse buys.

10/1 - 0
10/2 - 0
10/3 - 0
10/4 - 0
10/5 - 0 (used a code for a free Redbox rental and popped corn at home)
10/6 - $9 (A beer for son-in-love who took me to the Bears game for my
birthday)
10/7 - $2 (NWT black turtle neck for winter)

8th-$5.55 on doughnuts after the kid's sports club class (I blame DH!)

**I'm eating low carb right now, so though DH BOUGHT me a doughnut...he ate it, as well as his own. The thing that irked me...he asked me if I wanted one and I said no. What a waste of money!!
