Thanks for all the support with my mom. She is home and doing really well. I am so glad I am on vacation from work this week to help her out.

Went out and ran some errands today. I did get $18.98 back from a mismarked purchase at Rally House a few weeks ago. I also took all my stuff to goodwill and then came home and got 4 more bags and 1 more box ready to drop off tomorrow. I finally had time to go through the rest of my Grandmothers things.

I'm really trying to keep track of meals made and food consumed so I can improve meal planning. Which hopefully leads to less wasted food, which means less money wasted!

Last month and this month, I decided to buy NO personal hygiene items and use what I have here ---- stuff I've purchased and hadn't used, samples, stuff I got at the hotel last year, free items, etc.
Well, so far so good! I still have 3 bottles of body wash, lotions, deodorants, endless shampoos, and a bunch of Aquafresh toothpaste that I got for 8 cents each with coupons. This will last me through the end of the year for sure and I've saved a ton of $$ not buying it all.

I also saved over $50 yesterday with my coupons! (Groceries and cat food)

Woo! I have only gone grocery shopping twice this month which either means I am getting better at not forgetting items on the list, or I'm getting better at creating meals from the food in the fridge.

Also I really have to find a fool-proof bread recipe because I am sick of having to buy it every week...

I spent $20 at the grocery store yesterday on 250 pieces of candy, which is more than we'll need tonight.
