Does anyone know the approximate date the October movie/activities schedules are released?:)

Thanks for checking and posting the link, KPSmithSr. :thumbsup2

Here is the graphic for what the link has. I'll also throw the Halloween event calendar in a separate thread because a lot of folks will come here looking for that specifically.

Thanks to all for the info! Our first night down is Oct 1 and the grandkids were wondering what the movie would be. Sounds like we will be checking in, getting some take-out chicken at the Trails End and then head over to see Frankenweenie!
:)

Another THANK YOU (happy joyful shout) here.
We will also be watching Frankenweenie and Haunted Mansion. Have not seen either of them- have only barely heard of the first. New-to-you is fun.

The very very best movie month schedule is the one you're packing up the marshmallows and those striped chocolate shortbread cookies (our version of smores) for, right NOW ! (another happy joyful holler). Hoping the rain-dump allows it!:thumbsup2

Anyone that week who sees a bunch of big kids picking up trash with the castmember after the movie, is probably possibly looking at my kids. It's a tradition w/ them. :goodvibes Sometimes they sing, "First you pick it up, Then you put it in your bag, Bump Bump!" (old Humphrey Bear and Ranger Woodlore cartoon:love: Anyone remember it?). Weekends are usually the worst, poor valiant CM's!

bump to keep the schedule up near the top of the board. :joker:

Ed Do you have any idea which characters will be meeting at 4 pm on Fri/Halloween ? I know things can change but even based on past years ?

I made an ADR for Trails End at 1:05 and am very much hoping for Pluto

Yes I am a big ole 60 y/o baby ;)

Thanks, Ruthie

Ruthie,

Sorry I have no idea about which characters are included in that appearance. And I can't recall if others have reported that in the past. However, given that several characters make an appearance at the Mickey's Backyard BBQ meal, I think you would be assured of more than just Chip & Dale coming over from the campfire.:upsidedow

Sounds like you have a nice day planned. HDDR, relax, characters, then you can stay if you wish for the golf cart parade, trick-or-treating, and campfire-singalong-movie. The Friday forecast looks good.

Let us know if you get your picture with Pluto (I'm a Goofy fan myself). :thumbsup2

Thanks Ed,

I intend to get pictures with whatever characters show up. I'll certainly come back and tell you how the day went. As a local this is our go to place for a relaxing day. Last Thanksgiving we actually ate at the BBQ and were shocked at how many characters were there. Even my beloved Pluto.

The Fort will always be in our heart as it is the 1st resort we ever stayed in with our kids. ( Now 40 & 38 :faint: ) I haven't stayed there in years but come over for the trail rides quite often.

Thanks for all your help pixiedust:

Edited for Update :)

Hey Ed No Pluto for me no Goofy for you Jessie & Woody held court ! I gave a "little thoughts of the Fort" for yesterday on the " How's the trick or treat going ?" thread. WOW place was packed ! So much so that I was parked so far away I thought I would end up in the CM backstage area. :scared1: Good exercise for me though. I thank you again for guiding me to a great day. Would I go down there again on Halloween ? ONLY if I was smart enough to be staying on-site. Maybe next year,
