ZOMG. BELATED SINGLE DIGIT DANCE TIME, BABY!!

It sure is. I have to deal with this often in my line of work.It doesn't apply to domestic travel, only international. (And crossing the US/Canada border counts.)
Yep, @kastoney. I've got a TR going and just related the story of how I didn't bother bringing a letter this time, since I've never been asked for one after years of travelling alone with one or both DDs. This time I got asked for the letter (and of course it was the first time I didn't have one!) and was briefly detained before being allowed to enter the States.
Have a fantastical trip!!
Btw, you may need to spring the surprise before you go through security - in case they ask her if she knows where she is going
Can't wait to hear/read all about it when you return!!!!
I guess if you told her as you picked her up early from school as part of the surprise, there would sure be a great reaction from the other kids at school, wouldn't there?
But I would go for comfort first and foremost...of course I am saying this without having read all the details! LOL!
I've never heard of having to do that before...
can't wait to read about it and how the surprise goes!!
SINGLE DIGIT DANCE TIME, BABY!!
Good thing I haven't tried to run off with my daughter to Lichtenstein lately
In case I don't get back here in the next few days, have a wonderful, fantastic trip
Wishing you a WONDERFULLY magical trip!
So...now I have blisters on my heels BEFORE even setting foot in a theme park. Not good.
I would keep both with you. That way you can switch through out the day giving your feet needed breaks and definitely stock up on the moleskine. That or abandon my plan of wearing my sketchers go walk shoes in favour of Birkenstocks on the park..but not sure I could do a whole park day in those either...dilemma!!
OMG!!! T-1 to Disney!! Wahooooo!
And I can not believe that it's still a surprise. Either that or my 9 year old DD is an amazing liar. I'd be scared lol.
I feel bad about all the lying I've had to do lately lol. But when she finds out I'm sure she won't mind. The funny thing is I've had to lie to sooo many people for fear of someone blabbing and ruining the surpirse. I've told even her teacher and some of her friends' parents etc that we are going to Washington lol. I know that most of them probably would have kept the secret - but you just never know lol.
I did a stupid thing on the weekend - wore some uncomfortable boots because, well, the dumb things we do to get the cute sweater and skinny jeans and boots look because it's fall and I couldn't not. So...now I have blisters on my heels BEFORE even setting foot in a theme park. Not good. They are getting a bit better but I think I will need to apply some bandaids or moleskin or something to prevent them getting worse. That or abandon my plan of wearing my sketchers go walk shoes in favour of Birkenstocks on the park..but not sure I could do a whole park day in those either...dilemma!!
I like backpacks because hands-free
Anyway...I may not have time to get back here, so see ya on the flipside!
But otherwise...later gators!
definitely stock up on the moleskine.
The gift shop sells the moleskin but it will be hard to find scissors to cut it with.
Yeah DH and I had to google what to do with it. Lol glad I'm not the only one!I am going to read that link above though - because I am pretty certain I apply it wrong.![]()
