October Hours

When are October Park Hours and Parades Schedule released? Thank you.

I can't wait! These last few days seem like eternity waiting for the hours. This is going to be a VERY long weekend. This is a Monday I cannot wait for. Hopefully they won't make us wait til Tuesday.

This is a little off the subject, but I can't get my thread to post

Is MK very much more crowdedon the weekends than the other parks? My in-laws will be joining us at WDW for Fri, Sat, Sun - Oct 28-30, so I was wondering which would be the best day for MK? Friday should be EMH AM - at MK, but we won't get there early, so should skip MK that day? But, are Sat and Sun worse at MK than the other parks?

I'm trying to make ressies for character meal, so want to plan days/parks now.

Dana-Buckley: All three days are going to be busy. Friday Oct 28 and Sunday Oct 30 are both MNSSHP nights. The parks will be closing early those nights. Saturday will have Spectromagic and Wishes, the only night during that weekend. Saturdays at MK are always crowded.

I think it depends on what you want to do at MK. I know that we always fly into Orlando on Friday night and HAVE to do MK our first day at some point, I mean its a necessity! We generally sleep in and then head to MK in the afternoon for the parade, Wishes, Spectro and dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern. We know that our main goal is just seeing the castle, eating at our favorite restaurant and seeing the parades. That means very little in the way of rides and we know that so its fine. But we also know we will hit MK again later in our stay for a commando ride day! It sounds like you only have those three days so I would say just get there very early to do what rides you want to do and then maybe take a break and head back later for the parades etc. There is no way you can get all of MK done but going with your inlaws that probably isn't your goal anyway. Even though I know MK on a Saturday is a no no, we do it anyway and still have fun!

I just sent an email to Disney suggesting they have their hours available earlier for planning at the 90 day mark. Dunno if it'll do much good. Maybe if they got a LOT of emails.... (hint hint)

When I was on the phone today with WDW Dining the man told me that the October hours may not be out until the 5th. Oh I really hope not.

Thank you for the advice. I forgot to check about the other MNSSHP nights. We will be going to MNSSHP Oct 25, Tuesday night. We will actually be there Tue-Mon, but the in-laws will only be there for the weekend. We just want to ride some of the main rides with the in-laws, no hurry. Our DS are only 2 and 5, so the BIG rides are out for us anyway. Maybe DH and I will get to ride Splash Mtn, finally!

I think we will just get there at opening on Saturday, go to FantasyLand, and stay at the park as long as we want/can.
