October Hours

I'm telling you guys... don't expect to see October hours until August is over. I haven't psychotically watched Disneyland's park hours, but in the past when I have checked them out, it appeared to me that they will only have two months listed at a time. I could be wrong, but this is what I've noticed. I know a lot of people say they release their hours six weeks in advance, but I think that is a general statement (just like my theory behind the hours not being released until September hits).

I'm also not saying that September 1st there will be hours for October, it might be September 2nd or 3rd. But I would put money on it that we won't see October hours until August is over.

Whatever thier logic is for not releasing October schedule I am sure they are not selling very many Halloween party tickets right now. Only 33 days posted on the schedule when WDW has thiers posted 6 months out, always.

i had been always told 6 weeks out at dl im not sure why why they wont post the first week or two of oct now i was wtachign and saw every day it moved untill it all stopped

You might be right about October not being posted until August is cleared, but the end of September isn't even posted yet so that can't be the only reason the updating of the days stopped.

I emailed Disneyland customer service last Wed, Aug 22 asking when the Oct hours would be posted. I never got a response except for the standard, we got your email, someone will get back to you soon. So maybe I'll hear something back by this Wed.

This is the response I got in email yesterday. My email to them was to ask when will the October hours and such be posted?

"Thank you for your e-mail to the DISNEYLAND® Resort.

Regretfully, the information you have requested has yet to be
determined. Park Hours, refurbishment schedules and entertainment
schedules are determined approximately 6 weeks in advance. You are
invited to contact us again in the near future.

For kids, the only thing more fun than trick-or-treating at Halloween is

addition to collecting candy and surprises at treat stations throughout
the park, kids and their families will enjoy lively music, interactive
games and special activities. It's Halloween Disney style!

For the 2012 season, Mickey's Halloween Party is currently being

You might be right about October not being posted until August is cleared, but the end of September isn't even posted yet so that can't be the only reason the updating of the days stopped.

That's not entirely true. Fiscally speaking all of September has been released. September 30th is the first day for the fourth and final quarter of the fiscal year. It may be a day in September, but it is also can be considered to be part of the first week in October.

Now Disneyland could run it's fiscal quarter differently than the financial world (I work for a financial adviser), but our calenders mark September 30, 2012 as the first day of the final quarter.

I could be wrong, I'm just making assumptions based on the bit of information I know, seen, and have received.

And I also want to add, I'm also anxiously waiting September 30th and October 1st because those are my last two days at Disneyland. But I'm learning that it's not worth getting all worked up or stressed out over something you have absolutely no control over.

You are right it's not worth getting all worked up over but it is nice to know that other people feel your pain. If it wasn't for this board I would be lost and have no clue as to I couldn't be planning my trip.

they might still be debating or studying whether it's worth extending the daily DCA EE for hotel guests or not since that ends on the 29th
