October Hours/Dining

I know that October hours haven't been posted yet. We will be the parks for 3 days, Oct.19, 20, and 21. I was expecting a 9 am opening, with 8 am magic morning. But when I was playing around with the dining times, I noticed that the Plaza Inn Minnie and Friends breakfast was available to book for 7:10, making it look like the park opens at 8 am on Thursday Oct. 19.
I only have 1 magic morning. Should we use that Thursday or Saturday?

I'd go with MM on Thursday.
If you plan to do CM at the Plaza Inn, book it for Saturday at 7:10. We have done this many times.
It's nice to get in during MM/EE for breakfast when you don't have EE/MM

I am there the same time as disneymum. We also have MM and our first day will be Thurs. If we have to get our tickets (we have comps to pick up) would you recommend still doing MM that day? Do ticket offices open that early?

Pennym, are you there early enough Wednesday to pick up your tickets? I'm not sure when the ticket booths open in the morning?

It's probably a party night and the park will close at 6.

I don't think it's a party night. The Halloween parties are Tuesday and Friday. But when I look at previous years hours, that day DL has opened later than 8 am.

I believe ticket booths open an hour before the parks. Do your comp tickets have MM?
We always do MM on the first possible day we can of a trip.
The times we have saved MM for the end of a trip, everyone is too pooped to get out of bed.

All the tickets have to be activated on the day they are collected. We don't arrive till midday on Wednesday so don't want to waste a day! We are being given 3 day park hoppers so I assume we have MM. Not totally sure though.
