Trying to plan a quick trip to DL in October, and looking for some suggestions :thumbsup2

It'll be just DH and myself. Thinking about 10/19-10/22...in the parks Sat/Sun. Any suggestions for close, inexpensive hotels (preferably within 5-15 min walking distance). I found a hotel/ticket package for Castle Inn for a great price ($604 for 3-nites and 2-day hoppers!!!), just not sure as we've never stayed there and the reviews aren't fantastic.

I'd appreciate any thoughts, suggestions, tips!

TIA :goodvibes

The Castle is not a place I would reccomend. That's a busy weekend as a lot of people from Utah and other with Fall breaks come then. Expect it to be pricey.

Anahiem Plaza, Quality Inn on Manchester, Super 8 Katella, and the Motel 6 on Disney Way tend to be the cheapest and walkable locations. The last two are 15 minute at a decent walking speed, but for most a few minutes further.

On Last minute Travel you can book the Fairfield, which is right on Harbor, easy walk,for$93/nt plus tax. It's listed as an undercover hotel, but the pics are an easy give away (we've stayed here many times) and we just booked this same thing through here for our Oct dates and it was confirmed as the Fairfield. (the total for your dates with taxes was $327).... just to give you an option of a better way to find a close hotel.

I had a thread going about how to get the best rates and others shared this tip along with a way to plug in the hotel id on these undercover hotels into another URL and see what the hotel name is. So if you find others that you want to look at, search for the thread in the past 2 pages on here, titled something along the lines of "Fairfield cheaper rates ever?"

Ohhh....I was wondering what was going on the weekend of Oct 19th. I just called around to book a room for that weekend and found a couple of hotels already completely booked. Park Place Inn was the 3rd place I called and they only had 2 rooms left, so I grabbed one. Thanks for the heads up. I'll be prepared for a busy weekend now!

Thank you for posting this! I just saved over $200 on my September reservation!
