October fireworks question

I'm going 10/6 and 10/7 to Disneyland and DCA which is a Tuesday and Wednesday. I'm hearing that Disneyland closes at 8 and DCA at 6. Do they even do fireworks or maybe they only do it on weekends since they are open later?

I paid extra money for a "disney resort view" room at the Fairfield Inn so I could see fireworks but maybe it's not worth the money now?

If they don't extend they hours, it won't be dark enough for fireworks that early. I assume the fireworks are only going to be on the weekends.

In past years, fireworks have only been on weekends during October.

I know...that's what I was thinking. Okay...maybe I'll downgrade the room then or change days when we're going.

Bummer......I was looking forward to fireworks during our trip. I wanted to check out the new firework show.

Oh well.......I guess it gives me another reason to return soon
