We have only attended MNSSHP w/kids, but I would have a blast w/o them too! Possibly even more fun than w/them LOL It is a fun evening. The Halloween Parade is really nice and so are the fireworks! Seeing all the people in costume is alot of fun too! IMO-If it is w/in your budget (sounds like it is) and you enjoy halloween/costumes/candy and fun, I would seriously consider it

3 Nights AKL Concierge and then 10/21-10/26 BCV 1 BR!!

Me & DH - for F&W and golf. Did MNSSHP last year, two adults, no kids....it was okay, Neat fireworks, Main Street was lit really cool and it was fun to ride the rides....be sure to get your free photo....and unlike us....do it BEFORE Splash Mountain (ie, before a thorough soaking that causes mascara to run down your face)

DH doesnt want to pay to do MNSSHP again as it was a ton of stuff geared towards kids, but I thought it was fun!

DH, DD (3yo) and myself will be at BWV from 10/25 - 11/1.
We'll be attending MNSSHP on 10/30 and be at the BW Halloween Party on the 31st. Anybody else attending the BW Halloween Party?

Also on our trip will be my parents who are staying off-site and who have quite an agenda all their own. We will be meeting up with them for HDDR on the 28th and hopefully a morning or two at the parks. DH's parents are also coming for their first visit ever to WDW! They're staying at *** on the FTP package. Even though I ordered them the planning guide and gave them a Brinbaum's guide I still don't think they realize how BIG WDW is!!!! Should be a fun trip!!

Buzzlight - What are your kids ages? Maybe they and ours could make a pool date? We will be in Epcot on Wednesday 10/29 and will definately be at the UK during a British Invasion set.

Maureen - I was born in Amityville - at the Brunswick General Hospital. We used to live at the end of Terry Ave in a small cape on the right - until 1956 when I was 3 and we moved here. My dad built the house. And my Dad grew up at 32 Cedar St, my aunt lived on King Place. And yes, the story is a fake, but someone did kill their family in the house. The nonsense was just built up around it.

Just DH and me...DS is grown now (well, sort of at age 20).

We are doing almost the same thing. BCV from Oct. 17-23 and then our first cruise on the Wonder on the 23rd as well. Our son also happens to be 20. (our daughters are just shy of 18 and 19). None will be joining us however. Have fun.

hcortesis, wishing you a great trip, too. We love WDW in October but in addition to all our other "firsts," this is the first time we'll be going late enough in the month to partake in the Food & Wine Festival. And as for DS, he is amazed that DH and I still enjoy WDW so much without him .

First Disney Cruise - Wonder - 10/12-10/16

First trip to VWL - 10/16 - 10/19

And first time to MNSSHP - 10/16.

Me - 44, DH - 45, DS - 6.

Actually this is the first time we have used our points for a trip!! But not at our home resorts (HH, BWV).
