I have been reading the homemade T-shirt thread and was wondering if anyone would be interested in creating a Template for T-shirt Transfers that has a DIS theme. If we were all able to download it we could print the same T-shirts from our home on lime green shirts of course. Then we could easily find each other. I know that often DIS meets are set up at the parks. Wouldn't it be neat to all have the same shirts? From home we could customized the shirts by adding our screen names to the back or something. Well what do you all think? Anyone up for it? :cool1:

That sounds like a great idea! :cheer2: I'll wear a T-Shirt! I don't have the artistic talent to design a template though
I have some of the Home Depot Mickey Head paint color samples that I was going to write my screen name on with DIS Boards then laminate them so I can hang them off my back pack and such.

Hey, I bought a lime green t-shirt from Sam's club!!! My shirt has a v-neckline...

I'm thinking something small, on the shoulder maybe?? Mickey Mouse Head, with Dis in the middle?? Kinda of like a Name Badge...

Anymore October disers out there? Anyone with the talent to make a template?

Sounds like a fun idea. I wouldn't have a clue how to do that though! :confused3

Did you know you can buy already made DIS t-shirts? They sell them right here on the DIS! They are on sale right now for $9.99. DH and I bought two, one in each color. We also bought DIS pins and the antenna topper too!
Here's the link to the DIS store: http://www.disshop.com/store.asp

http://www.disshop.com/store.asp[/QUOTE]Oh Oh my gosh! I love that Lime Green DIS shirt...I had no idea that existed, and for $ is a good buy!:teeth:

I did know that you can buy the dis shirts at the disshop, but I was inspired by the make your own disney T-shirt thread. I thought that maybe we could come up with a transfer just for the October disers. Perhaps others could do other months? Just a thought. I have done homemade T-shirts for past trips, but I have no idea how to put a template online where it could be downloaded by all. Hopefully someone will join in that has an idea of how to do this.

I'm the one who posted the DIS shop link. Thanks for clearing up the misunderstanding. I'm also going in OCT and if someone comes up with a way to make our own shirts I'd be happy to make one and wear it on our trip Oct 13-24! I have also made transfers for tshirts, but my craft skills are better than my computer knowledge.

I'd be interested in making and wearing one when I'm there from October 4-9. I doubt that I could get DFD12 to wear one, though, she's such a drama queen. I like the idea of the design on the shoulder. I don't know how to do the template or download thing, either. I'm in though, if we get this accomplished!

Hey all you October folks.

I posted a thread a couple of weeks ago about coming up with a t-shirt transfer design that us DISers could apply at home adding our screenname to the back. We thought we could do it on lime green shirts of course. OKWOODSMITH was kind enough to come up with an awesome transfer that we can us. I'll post the tread and you can take a look at it. If we want to use it he will post a link for us to download it. As I stated in his post I would be honored to wear that shirt. What do you all think? We could wear them to the parks and easily pick each other out, or how would we look at a DIS gathering all in the same logo.

Interested in seeing your responses.

here is the thread address. I'm not sure it will post as a link.

We're going in Oct.(I think) and think this a cool idea. I too read the homemade shirts thread, but your link dosen't work for me. I would love to see it. anyone know what the problem is?

If you are going to print these on a lime green shirt, be sure you use the transfer paper for colored shirts..not the transfer paper for white (otherwise anything on the transfer that should be white, will be green.

I Love Love Love That Shirt.....we Are Also Going In October, First Week.....would Love To Wear That Shirt And We Can Put Our Screen Names On The Back Of Them.....how Do We Get The Link To Download It?????
