October Discounts

When the October Discounts finally arrive, has anyone had any luck with using them at the campground ??? I have a AAA rate of $41.00 for a full hook-up site for the first week of October. Is this a good rate or can I do better ???

Are you in a preferred site? We have AAA full hook up pet loop, not preferred for $33.00 per night. That would be Oct. 24-31. We will be watching for any other discounts that might be out there, but I have never had any luck with the room only discounts when they come out for the campsites. Might just be the timing of when we plan our trips, but will definately check them out just to be sure.

I'm confused on your two different rates. If you are both in full hook-up and both used AAA, shouldn't you both have the same price??? It almost sounds like YorkieMom didn't get the discount because if you look at FW posted rates - $41 is the rack rate.

I'm in a preferred site for October 10-17 and I'm paying $49 (before tax). I'm definately hoping for an AP rate or general public code. I hate to pay that much for a campsite.

I was typing as you were posting. Your rate makes sense now since it includes tax. Have a good trip!!!! Looks like you will be driving home when I'm driving down. We check in on the 10th.

We are going 10/31 - 11/7 and have an AAA rate of $48.17 (tax included) for 4 adults / 2 kids at a preferred site. (I booked this last September.)
