october discounts

I get the Disney Insider e-mail but didn't get the discount e-mail and I could really use the discount listed in the e-mail.
I just don't understand how they do that! I hope my DU agent is able to do something!

hello everyone.
i called disney today and got the october park hours and 411 on parades, fireworks, etc. i posted that 411 on the thread october park hours.
the oct calender is not up yet on the wdw site.

while talking to the cm and getting info for october, i asked her if any specials or discounts, ap rates have been released yet.
the cm said not at this time and unknown when or if that will happen.

cm told me they do not have the 411 yet, but there is usually something disney offers for the fall.

just thought i would share what i was told today.
i booked the dream maker package but my friend is eagerly waiting for info on ap rates......

Only 1 week until our balance is due....hoping for some discounts....

DH and i are visiting all the way from Scotland 2-9th October. Phoned the other day to check availability and could get rooms in all the resorts we wanted but not at a discount!! CM was lovely but didn't know if anything would be released or not. She did make sure that she had our email address just incase, i keep checking but don't suppose that disney send out codes/ postcards etc to anywhere other than the US. We live in hope though

Arghh! Would you believe I deleted my Insider without reading it because I was swamped with too much to do?? Now I read about people finding links to discounts in it.

Ok, we just bought our APs. Where is the first place that we can see or find out about the AP codes for October? I know here and mousesavers.com will have info, but will I also need to get an "official code" from someone at Disney??? Thanks for helping a rookie out!

I got the insider and the only links for discounts were ones that are already out, for discounts through september.

Hi-
I am brand new to the board. Love all the info. I just reserved a room yesterday and I have been waiting not so patiently for Oct. discounts. We are there Oct 16-23. I'm wishing on every star for a fabulous rate!!
One question- what are APs??
I need all the help I can get!
