October airfare Newark to Orlando

Anyone know why airfare is so high for 10/19/13? It is not Columbus day weekend. It is close to $700 roundtrip for one adult. I've never paid more than $375 r/t for this same segment and time of year (United). Jet Blue is not much better....and not alot of flights to choose from.

Try LaGuardia. I see $325 roundtrip on JetBlue from LGA to MCO traveling to MCO on 10/19 and back on 10/26.

I'm sure more flights will be posted and the prices will come down. I have found that the best prices are usually between 2-3 months out.
