In reply to the previous post, I just searched for "October 9 Disney Dream to the Bahamas" then sent a request to join the closed group on Facebook. Hopefully this helps newbies like me to find FE groups for our cruise. The admin is Joe Sendek. I hope this helps!

my husband and I just booked this cruise tonight. It'll be our 6th Disney cruise! So excited to join all of you for Fall Break!! It will by my husband and I and our three children (Katie, age 4; William, age 9, and Charlotte, age 8)..

Hi Everyone,

In the past few months my DH and I have been on our first Disney Cruise and to Disney World 3 times. I had booked 2 more trips - Oct and Nov. On this last trip we purchased DVC and my DH told me we needed to cancel the Oct and Nov trip and just do 1 BIG Trip next year either in Nov or Dec. So in 2015 we would have our 2nd Disney Cruise (Easter Week) and then 1 BIG Trip to Disney World using our new DVC.

Well that was all well and good until I looked at my count down until the next Disney Vacation 266 DAYS!!!!! I couldn't take it so I found the Oct. 9th cruise which works great with my kids fall break at school. I think I have just about talked DH into booking this cruise. The TA is currently looking at rates and rooms and I am starting to plan. I requested to join the FB group today. We are not officially booked but I do think this is going to work out.

Is it to late to join the FE? On this trip it would be myself, DH, DS10, DD2 and I am bringing my two nieces - 12 and 14.

This will be our family's first Disney Cruise. In December 2013, we were on the NCL Epic which was docked right beside the Disney Dream. It looked so awesome that we decided we would have to book...and here we go. We have a DD 10 and DS 8, but I may be more excited than they are. We will be spending a few days at WDW & Universal both before and after the cruise. I would love to participate in FE and will check out the FB page. I had started a roll call on CC, but like someone else mentioned, it's not very active.

Does DCL do onboard meet & greets with officers the way some other cruise lines do?

Looking forward to meeting you all in just a couple months.

Just booked the cruise. Can't wait! It will be myself, my husband and my daughter ( will be turning 4 on Oct. 13 will be a birthday celebration). Would love to participate in fe . On our last cruise my daughter had a ball checking her fe every night.

Jkorde - we have a Facebook group set up and are doing the FE list from that. If you are on FB, find the group "October 9 Disney Dream to the Bahamas" with Joe Sendek as moderator. That is our group! I think we have a few more spaces in group 3 and then we will start group 4. We are keeping it to 10 rooms per group so as not to overload anyone.

I am trying to see if we can get 25 adults for a private happy hour too. Not there yet...

We're running the Fish Extender group off of Facebook. We're on the fourth group. Just search for October 9 Disney Dream. Lost of families with kids of all ages! Welcome!
