Hi Everybody!
My husband and I will be joining you on this cruise.
It's to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary, which is the week before.

We have five kids, and we ALL were on the Disney Magic Eastern cruise last month. It was spectacular, and DH and I couldn't think of anything we'd like to do better to acknowledge our anniversary than to take another Disney cruise. I feel bad not bringing the kids....but we have not taken a vacation just the two of us since 2002, and that was just for 1 night!

Can't wait to meet everyone, and discuss and plan and dream as we count down the days. That's a big part of the fun for me.

We were on the Magic last month too!! But we did Western Caribbean. We have 3 children and are NOT bringing them this time. They really are great kids but like you said - we need some adult time too
We will be celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary on 10/10/12. We are going to Food & Wine @ Epcot after this cruise. I think we are going to cruise on the Fantasy for our 20th - hoping to get some savings on this cruise
I was thinking about doing the FE but not sure since it is a short cruise. However I am looking forward to fun times with new & old friends!

Still really excited about the cruise, but i have to back off the FE. there is way to much going on in our lives to try to fit this in now. but i would love to meet up with people to chat.

Know exactly how you feel! This cruise I don't have any children & therefore will have more time to meet & greet friends & do fun adult stuff!
I did FE on the last cruise & needed an extra suitcase just for FE gifts to give out!! I know - I went a little crazy but it was my first cruise - ya live & learn
Hope to get a chance to meet you - PM me for my email & we can discuss planning, meeting & other fun stuff. I am still a newbie so maybe you can give me some advice? Looking forward to meeting you in October!

As of right now our FE group is very small, but if it were to get much bigger we will be dividing them up as well.

Looks like there will be quite a few Anniversary celebrations going on during this cruise! We will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary (which is the Friday before we sail) but felt bad leaving the kids out so we decided to bring them along . Another reason why we chose to cruise Disney. We knew we could have them in the kids club while we are able to have some adult time .

Just wanted to say hi to everyone and introduce myself

My name is Roxann and I am the self proclaimed Duchess of Disney my family & I have been going to WDW since 1977!!! However, this past February was my first experience on DCL and I must say, I am hooked ( no pun intended ) This cruise will include just myself (44) my husband Tony (43) and our good friends. We will be celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary ( 10/10/12) - 19?! I know why not wait until the 20th? - well we are going on the Fantasy for that anniversary - I did mention we were hooked, right? We are excited to meet as many of you as we can and enjoy our common love of all things Disney.

A big THANK YOU to Deb & Mandy for organizing the FE and the fun Even though we are about 6 months out, it will be here before you know it!

So I am starting to count the days down on when I tell my DD about her Surprise cruise.

So far she thinks that I am still going to a work conference in October (my corporate office is in Miami but she just knows it is in Florida).
So I tell her that I have to leave on her BDay which is Oct 7th. She tells me it is unfair and I tell her that she will be staying with her dad that week, and there is nothing that I can do, that I have to work. And then she drops the big one on me, "Mom since you get to go to Florida for work I am going to tell my Dad that he can take me on the Dream for my BDay" WHAT I think OH NO she has found out....

Think goodness she still has no idea that we are going. But is just mad becuz she thinks I have to work. So I have to call her dad make sure he diverts her if she asks him. He knows about the surprise but I had to make sure if she said something he didn't tell her that she was going...

So my original plan was to tell her she was going with me a night or two before, then the morning we get on the ship tell her. But I have decided to tell her the week before. So hopefully I can keep my mouth shut becuz I have almost slipped a couple of times.. And I have to be sneaky to get on Dis

I am really excited about surprising her since I haven't surprised her before. So hopefully all goes well. Plus I am so ready for it to be October....

I know how you feel Amanda! I wanted to keep it a secret from my kids too until we left, but it was too difficult for us. Our computer is in the common area of the house and they saw me looking at stuff online all the time. I know even if I tried I would have slipped up sooner or later. This way I'm able to plan with them which builds anticipation and excitement in them that is so cute to see. Good luck to you and I'm sure your dd will be doing back flips once you finally tell her

Welcome to the group! I keep reading everyone say that the 3 and 4 nights are too short so I'm hoping that it's not true. I know we won't get to everything we want to see and do, but that'll just give us a reason to book again in the future

It's getting closer... Yesterday we booked our flights, made hotel reservation for night before, reserved rental car and found out where to go to church before we board and a few options for going out to eat Saturday night.

Now we just need to wait and wait.

I just received an email from my agent regarding final payment! Now it's really starting to sink in that we'll be cruising before we know it
