I agree - I just want good weather so we can get there and get on the ship. I don't care where we sail to so much, etc. I'm more excited every day!

As Selket said, she and I are obsessing about the weather for all of you. The short and sweet report is that we're all going to have a fantastic time - regardless of the weather.

Don't see anything that anyone needs to worry about right now.

Prepare for Hot and Sticky. I seriously doubt that anyone will be cold, unless it's from air conditioning.

In 7 DAYS - I will be on VACATION with the out of office turned on.

Our buttons came today, and the last of the snorkel sets came yesterday. I think we have everything now. I just don't know how I'm going to get it all in the suitcases.

We have officially decided to leave early Thursday morn. so we can get to FL. in time for the Halloween Party Friday night. Bought our tickets last night.

Everything is coming together now, but boy do I have some major work to do before I can leave. My office has inventory to do, and guess who's responsible? Hopefully I will have it all done by Wed. afternoon. If not, it will still be there waiting when I get back, because I'm sure no oneelse will do it.

Got the buttons today - did anyone order one with the green background from Zazzle? The green isn't lime green but a dark green and it makes the writing hard to see. Really not at all the color on the website. I'm curious if anyone else got the green ones and if they are dark.

Ah well...I'm hardly going to stress over buttons. I'll be the one with the dark green buttons you cannot read unless you are 5 inches away - LOL!

What a bummer about the lime green on the buttons... I'm glad I didn't get those after all. I decided to get the nite sky ones since we will be wearing lime green t-shirts. Figured the blue would show up better. Wonder why they turned out so dark? The pic was definite lime green...sorry guys!

On a good note: DS says 'thanks' for the birthday wishes! He has only asked for one thing this year...Money! He wants to get an X-box 360 and is only asking everyone give him money so he can add it to his savings..He is also applying for a job a Burger King to help. And yes..one more year before driving..I dread that! He will need a fulltime job just to pay for the insurance!
One another good note! This is the last Thursday we will have to work and tomorrow is the last Friday! (ok some will have to work Thursday but I refuse to think about it!)

I completely agree. When I was doing our LGM luggage tags, the Lime Green on the monitor was nothing close to the green printer by either of my printers. Lots of pfaffing with color pallets later, they were a close match. Maybe I need to get one of those fancy colorimiter thingiewatsits.

I think also the Square Design will make them stand out.

Plus.. think about this... Alot of us will be recognizable at the port, and so many of us are going right to the pool... Then the big 3pm meet... That's a lot of time getting to know each other's faces, to start the week off right. Now I will confess, I am much better at remembering faces than names... And I am much better at remembering screen names than I am real names.

Gosh. I can't wait for this trip to start. Soooooooooooooooooooo much to do between now and then, I sure hope I can get it all done.

so I'll be wearing a LIME GREEN Mickey head paint chip. I have several around here somewhere - may need to make a run to Home Depot. And I'm thinking about some type of Lime Green Mickey Head on my carry on - REALLY BIG. I'll figure something out and let you guys know by next week.

Everyone remember to put some type of light jacket in. It will be HOT during the day but at night, especially when the ship is moving, it can cool off quite a bit - and strolling around deck 4 or deck 10 in the evening looking at the water and the stars is way too special to miss because you're cold.

Too Cold?? Last cruise it seemed like it was 98 degrees at midnight with 2000% humidity.

Just goes to show how different cruises vary... For me, I needed a sweater INSIDE and was thankful to get outside and feel the heat.

I think once a few of us find each other, the 'collective' we will be easy to spot!

I agree with you Laurabearz. I had to go outside just to warm up. It is the tropics, afterall. It was so cold everywhere in the ship, even with a sweater. The theatre was the coldest during a movie. The bad thing about going outside with that warmth, combined with that gentle rock, and the breeze made me so sleepy I could not stay awake enough to go to any of the other club activities. If it rains it could cool things off.

CM Mom it is an excellent idea to bring a light jacket, you never know when you may have the need to use it.

I am finishing up the - maps - Each Deck plan with the Diser's Cabin's, names, etc I included ALL decks and will post them when I am finished (just need to go Deck 8 cabin assignments woot) Looks like we have DISers on every deck but Deck 1 and Boo.. Your the only DISer on Deck 5... but lots of DISers right above you in the aft I figure this map will help with Door Magnet Tag...

Anyway I am on a roll, so off to finish it I Will post them soon!

Just wanted to let everyone know I did find out some definate info on "Boatswain Beach," as far as how far from port and taxi info. Oh, and you don't have to have reservations. Here is the info they sent me in an email.

In regards to your previous questions I wish to confirm that reservations aren’t needed to visit Boatswain’s Beach at all. We are conveniently located 10-12 minutes away from the port in the town area also taxi’s are located centrally at the port and you will find it quite comfortable seeking transportation to us. The price range for a taxi from the port may run between US$12-$16 from the port.
