**@@** October 6th, 2007 Magic**@@**

I've completed all the online check-in points, should I be looking for documents in the mail?
and I'm the opposite - time seems to be speeding up - not enough time to do all the chores for departure! Can I borrow some of the "slow" time"?

Man, would I ever share the slow times!! :wizard: I look forward to seeing the cruise get here but I know I will hate to see it go!

Can't believe that we will be leaving for Florida in just 2 weeks!!! So much to do so little time!!! Thankfully, we will have a couple of days in Florida to pick up any last minute items that I don't want to pack in the suitcases and cart with us all the way from Arizona.

We finished cruise clothes shopping this weekend ... even DH cooperated for the shopping part. Now I just have to check and double check the packing list as I start filling those suitcases.

Still waiting on those cruise documents .. I thought we would have them by now:confused3 Hopefully, in the next couple of days .. then the time will really fly by!

-Bridget

We booked through DU and I contacted our agent today. She said that she is going on the 9/30 cruise and got her docs about 14 days out. She said if they didn't come by next Monday then we start checking. It doesn't sound like many here have gotten them yet.

Hi Laura, I'm too lazy to post the whole list but please update cause I got the numbers switched. All are sideways cat 11s and I'd be glad to join the fun, tag and tours, - but probably not the rest of the fam. DD thinks I'm nuts anyway.

CM_Mom, Reine (sounds like Renee) and Paul 6015; DS and DDIL Chris and Julia, 6503 ; DMIL and DSIL, Lois and Janet 6011

We swapped the rooms to give the young couple some privacy and get DMIL closer to us.

Laura, the pictures are a HOOT.

Getting closer....got the suitcase out of the attic today. Now I have to focus on my schoolwork and be sure to get ahead in my online class so I can take a week OFF. Sometimes I wonder what a 59 yo is doing going after another degree. Oh well, they say brain activity staves off Alzheimers.

Sign us up for the tour (assuming its a Sea Day). We have a pair of Cat 4's.

Andy

Hey all, as of right now we are in Stateroom 6139. I still have my fingers, and toes crossed that we will get an upgrade, but not sweating it too much.

I see on the list that we are just listed as MCKAMEYfam, which is:

MyselF, DW -33, and DS -8.

I have been checking the mailbox with anticipation each day hoping to see our documentation. I cant believe that we are only two weeks out.

CM_Mom - I too just took the bags out of the attic last night. It feels more real now that these bags are taking up space on the floor. My son just asked last night when we were going on the trip, and my wife and I have to keep a secret from him. He gets all kinds of excited, and it interferes with his school work. We just told him that he will know that it is time to go when we wake him up at 4am, and tell him that we are going to the Airport.

I pulled out the suitcases over the weekend and I started making piles as well. If we pack this early, though, won't everything be wrinkled??? What's a girl to do?!?!?!? :confused3

Too funny! My DS 8 gets too excited also. We thought about keeping it from him but with 2 other kids, it is hard. This will be our 3rd Disney Cruise. About a month or so before each trip, he loses focus at school. We always warn his teachers ahead of time! Lol! That's my boy!

Oh yeah, we know that all to well. Two years ago we went to Disney World for the new year, and A few weeks out my son was FREAKING OUT that we had not packed yet, and that we had to put the dogs into the kennel. He was sweating all of the small details, even at school, and completely lost focus. We got a letter home from his teacher telling us how he was pre occupied with his vacation. LOL.

We have learned from that, and dont give him the date of the trip.

:rotfl:

Still looking for about 10 cruisers... I am chomping at the bit to make the final list, if you see any of the below around the boards, PM them and tell them to get their butts over here right now! ROFL

I also added those who said they are willing to show us their cabins since I asked again on page 75... Reillyroony who has the Mid ship Cat 3 has not checked back in since then, and we still need a Cat 5/6 and Cat 7 to make the tour complete! I also have a plan to wirte a nice note to the Cat 1 people to see if they would like to join our tour, so we can get a peek in thier cabin.. how bad am I!!! lol

We still have rooms available for this cruise...yes, I was curious and I checked on the Disney site. :rotfl: Is that too obsessive?;) :confused3 Especially the lower categories. Several of us gave up our cat 11-12's for more people to come aboard. Wasn't that soooooo nice of us?? :lmao: :lmao:

I would have been happy with the cat 12 - but I am so grateful for the cat 9!

Laura-

Are you referring to me? If so, I have been here. I just posted a couple of days ago explaining where I have been. Maybe you missed it? Also, it's Rellyrooly. ;)

I don't have the midship triple wide cat 3 this year (I think Lildeb does). I am somewhat midship in a regular cat 3 (longer, but less wide). Just an FYI

Attention LauraBearz!!!!!!!!!

We are here. We are here. We are here. You must have missed us. Don't sail that ship without us. Cabin #7131 Martha (59) Harvey (59)

I knew I was off on the title sorry!! And I meant you had not checked back in since I had asked (on page 75) everyone to post AGAIN if they were interested in doing the tour.. sorry for the confusion.

So with that said.. Are you willing to particapate in the Cabin Tour? Pluzzzzzeeeeeeeeeee :-)

I updated the List on both page 76 and on the front page... Sorry about spacing where I have seen you, I knew you were around, just it all blends after a while. sorry lol

I have two rooms for viewing - I have a midship cat 3 and I have a reclassified Cat 7 - not the standard navigators verandah but a regular verandah room that is slightly obstructed.

WOW!! What a bonus for us newbies (and for those of you who have sailed before). We will be able to see all these different cabin categories...After I see the BIG ones...I just know I'm going to have to get another job just to pay for the Disney cruises I will be wanting! :lmao: ...{wonder if McDonald's is hiring?...}

That is SUPER AWESOME!! Woot Thanks! I know the cabin number for the Midship, but could you let me know the Cat 7 room number please so i can add it to the list. (I tired figuring it out but I couldnt lol)

Now all we need is a Cat 5/6 and a regular Cat 7 and we have all the bases covered! OMG I am so excited!

I will lay out a course, so we wont be zig zagging all over the ship, but it looks like 8-10 staterooms to view (isn't that exciting!) So it looks like this will be at least an hour if not longer... :scared1: In other words, this will be a quick peek.... I imagine a long train of us going in and out of each room... I LOVE IT!!! (is it wrong to be this excited over it?? Please tell me no lol)

As far as timing... Like I mentioned, this looks to be at least an hour. I think 1230ish on the first Sea Day is most likely the best time to do it... then those of us who are doing the margarita party (and brunch) can fit it in. I know DH and the kids will be off doing something else, so more than likely it will just be me...

SOOOOOO Does 1230ish on the first Sea day work for those showing their cabins?? My thinking is we could give the cabin stewards, a heads up, and ask them if there is anyway to hit our rooms first that day...
Thoughts??

Laura-

No problem about butchering my name (lol) Just so you know, I am TOTALLY saying this in a teasing way. I really don't care, I'm just playing with you! Also, nobody can pronounce it so you are not alone. The name comes from Cinderella, since my real name is Cindy, and it somehow over my young years morphed into Rellyrooly.

12:30 may be iffy for me...I have brunch at Palo at 10:30-12:30 and then Spa ressies at 2pm. So depending on what time I really get out of Palo and then have to get ready for spa, that leaves a very little window. I don't want to mess anybody up so if it works for everyone else, I would say do the tour and anyone who wants to come by another time is more than welcome. I have no problem showing the room, its just that it is so hard to plan a formal thing like this with so many people having so many different plans and times. Or, you guys could come by while on the tour and if I am there, you all can come in and if not, then you could move on. Let me know what you think. Sorry! I don't want to put a crimp in things!

I'm from Arizona -- our kids get a week off each year in October for Fall break and typically are on board during this week. I came over to see what we are missig -- as this year we are cruising 10/7 on the Freedom of the Seas. Our board is totally dead, hardly any posts -- looks like it's because you are all on the Magic!! Totally impressed by the planned activities! Have a great fun cruise, keep the ship intact - we'll be headed out on her the last week of May 2008 when she comes over for the West Coast party!

Enjoy!! :thumbsup2
Cathy
