**@@** October 6th, 2007 Magic**@@**

Yes, my girls liked the clubs a lot, but on a 3 day cruise there is so much to cram into such a short time period, that it was just crazy., esp with the bomb scare which started things in a frenzy.... I am looking forward to 7 lovely slow days....

Ok.. I thought of another Magical moment... When you first come over the bridge leading to the port and you see her....

Good evening ladies. Busy, busy day here! I'll be glad when the Science Fair is over, lol.

Okay...at what point do you guys start packing for your trips? I actually have a drawer set aside for things I find for our trip. I haven't put anything in it yet, but I'm keeping my eyes open. :magnify:

Hey guess what! Tomorrow puts us UNDER the 19 month mark!!! Yeah....okay...I'm grasping at straws, but it sounds good anyway, :goodvibes

Another favorite moment: Watching Hercules...I just loved it!

Good night all!
Lori P. :)

We missed Hercules... we only saw one show... I cant wait for SEVEN DAYS to have some time to do more things!!! lol

I have several trips coming up (well always) so I am always in a state of either packing or unpacking. last trip was WDW right before Christmas. Never again in cool weather. I had to pack soooooo much stuff and we needed every fleece and mitten I packed too!!

Last cruise I had one whole suitcase with nothing but our Pirate garb in it. All the stuff should still fit, if not I will add to it, for 2007. I will also have one large suitcase dedacated to Formal Wear... and then tiny carry ons for bathing suits and shorts for the rest of the time!! I wonder if concerge does laundry?? :rotfl2:

As far as hosting a meet for all of us in our room OF COURSE!! Unless we meet up with the Walt or Roy folks!!! :rotfl: I have read the con staff is great at putting together gatherings. Maybe a fruity/cheesy kinda of thing on a sea day??

I really need to get cracking on our Disneyland dining reservations for May... the 60 day mark is quickly approaching, and the only place I want to eat is PALO's!!!

Whew! I'm tired. The boys finally finished their science fair projects for tomorrow. I'm going to get a snack and go to bed! (but first I had to check in with my new Magic buddies, hehe.

Well, we're officially under 19 months. Before you know it, we'll be boarding that beautiful boat :sunny:

I hope you guys have a great day tomorrow!
Lori P. :)

Oh, another DCL favorite: seeing Castaway Cay for the first time. After seeing so many pics of it on the DIS, it was surreal to be seeing it for myself, firsthand.

great picture!! (well not of your mom, and shame on you for taking a picture of her with food in her mouth... that is a violation!!!) I will dig some of mine out before this is all over.... lol

i am tired today too, and for no real reason. I miss the days of sleeping 12 hours....

Big Fun fair this weekend at my oldest school... I am helping out during the first part, and playing the second. Should be fun.

DD5 has picture day tomorrow. That means early to rise to do her hair in a flip... lol ugh

Favorite moment... managing to swim out to see the hidden mickey under water on CC. My dd5 was on my back and it was a long way out hauling her!! but soooooo worth it. I plan on buying the kids snorkle stuff for the pool here at home, so we all can swim out and see him and I dont have to carry anyone!!!

Hi Guys! Hope you are having a good week. Today was a little crazy at school. One of the teachers had her cell phone taken, so we were dealing with that on top of one of our teachers being absent today. We also didn't have enough subs, so we had to take turns watching another teacher's class during our planning period...so goes the world of education.

I received my receipt for my down payment from Dana today in the mail, and she had put one of the DCL books in it. You would have thought it was a $100 check, I was SO excited.

Laura, I was laughing to myself as I re-read our favorite things. If we keep that going, by the time we get to October '07, we'll really be scraping the bottom of the barrell for things to say......"My 467th favorite thing is, um, um...the texture of the toilet paper." :teeth:

Seriously, one of my favorite memories is watching my two oldest dancing at the sail-away party. (My youngest got tired of it all and just laid down on the floor in the middle of the party)

Talk to you later!
Lori P :)

Evening all! Busy day today... and a crazy weekend! Fun Fair at the school is Saturday and DD 6 has a Brownie field trip to ED DeBevics (kinda like 5o's prime time cafe) at noon on Sunday and DD 5 just got invited to (TODAY!) a birthday party for a class mate also at noon on Sunday. The kids social life is better than mine!!

Nother good DCL thought.... I loved watchting all the activty that happens when the ship docks... and why we will always ahve a veranda!! dozens of people run around unloading and load things up... quite fun!

Laura, I hope your weekend goes well, sounds busy! We're going to sign the three oldest up for soccer tomorrow, but other than that, I don't have anything else planned. I guess I'll end up cleaning out the garage tomorrow. woohoo!

Favorite moment: playing Bingo. I didn't win, but it was fun anyway. One of my DIS meet buddies did win. That was neat to know one of the winners.

Well, my eyelids are drooping, so I'm heading off to bed. I'll catch you later!
Lori P :)

I am starting off tonight with a favorite thing... Taking pictures before the life boat drill. (NOT THE drill iitself) But I loved the moments before the deck filled with people and my kids were running around wearing the life jackets.

And for the heck of it, here is a shot of the shirts I made the kids (we surprized them with that cruise)

We will also surprize them with this cruise. Since it is still hurricane season, better they not know if the cruise is cancled, ya know??

Some more pictures...

My boy.

How is that for a favorite memory. He went around and around and around, happy as a clam for 20 minutes. He is even cuter now. LOL (Sorry mom brag)

Hi Everyone,
I think my two favorite moments have already been metioned....the Dcl hon and the sail away party. We are off to Dance class (David has my son at Little Gym Class) Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Like I said... we are cruising during hurricane seasons and The kids would be super bummed if we missed the cruise... so if they dont know what they are missing... my life is better... lol

And DH doesnt know we are in a cat2... that is his surprize... he likes his space (well we all do) and the two cat 6's just didnt cut it, so I am hoping the Cat 2 will fit the bill.

I could not keep it quiet for a day!

Debbie, I'm with you, I can't even keep it a secret from the stranger standing next to me in line at Walmart, lol :rotfl:

Laura, what cute pics. I hated the safety drill (I guess I'd be hard pressed to find someone who love it), because we got there on time and were supposed to stand in line from tallest to shortest, which put my youngest in front of his older brother, neither of whom like to stand still. Then people who got there later were put in front of us and my youngest kept bumping into them. It was NOT fun. I just kept thinking, "When this is over, we'll be FREE to cruise"

Lori P. :)

Lori, notice I said I loved the moments before the drill, the drill itself was a nightmare.

They expected my 2 yo to stand at the front of the line 3 people away from the next family member (my 4 yo dd) since we needed to line up by height... He had other thoughts and after the morning we had, with the bomb scare, and us spending 4 hours in the parking lot waiting to board ship (we arrived at the port at 1015 and barely made the lifeboat drill at 415 (it was pushed back) all in 90 degree heat...

BUT the 15 minutes before everyone got there... priceless :-)

That's RIGHT! I forgot that. They did try to get Matthew to stand in front of some people in front of us, and it was such a chore, the CM finally just motioned for me to let him stand in front of me. She recognized that as a battle not worth fighting, I guess.

Goodnight you guys! I'm heading to bed!

Lori P.:)

HEY! Where is everyone?

It must have been one wild weekend.

Beautiful day here in Chattanooga. Our students only come four days this week, so I'm counting down the days until Friday. Actually, I love being with the kids most of the time.

Hope to hear from you guys soon!
Lori P. :)

Hey! DH left today for Hilton Head Island, so we have been doing family stuff. DD 5 is working on the Book It thing with Pizza Hut, which works out nicely since DD6 can read the books to her. Killing two birds with one stone.

So it is me and the kids until Sunday night. Thank goodness they are great kids (for the most part) I did get a sitter for Saturday night though. My girl friend and I are going to go to a movie. Not sure which one yet, it all depends on the start times :rotfl2:

Tomorrow I MUST call for our Disneyland ADR's. I keep forgetting!! Cant wait for MAY!!!

Anyway if you dont see me over the next couple of days I will be so proud since it would mean my kids bonded together (against me).

Laura...good to hear from you. I was thinking you'd gone MIA, lol

Yesterday, I was showing my class something on the internet using my laptop. I left it on while they were doing independent work, and my screen saver started up. My saver is a slide show of my Disney Pics, and it was so fun watching those with my class as they were working. One of my students, who has cystic fibrosis, is going on DCL next week with Make A Wish Foundation. I hope she has a blast!

I'm off to bed. I have to go to teacher inservice tomorrow and then..I'm off for a week...Go me! Go me :cool1: :cool1:

Talk to you later!
Lori P :)
