October 5th - 7th parade/show times

Hi
This is our first time to Disney and I am trying to find out what shows/parades will be on whilst we are there - I can only see up to 1st October on the sites Ive been on

Also whilst there it will be my little girls 7th Birthday and we want to do something special like dinner with charachters etc ??? has anyone got any good ideas or tips

We will be staying at the sequioa lodge with my sister and her 2 children whose birthdays are also whilst we are there any good tips would be most helpful - it seems like a minefield !!!!!

For a birthday experience I'd definately recommend Cafe Mickey and preorder the Birthday cake too for a really special moment. My DS celebrated his 7th birthday there earlier this year and we had a superb time as you can see.

Were you wanting 1 big birthday celebration or 1 for each child, you can order a cake in several of the restaurants, the Lucky Nugget Saloon would be another nice place or the Plaza Gardens restaurant does a Tea Party or a Birthday Party, these are all with characters BTW.
You can also have a birthday cake at somewhere without characters like the Blue Lagoon for instance.

Hi CarlaI - welcome to the forums.
I too would highly recommend Cafe Mickey - we celebrated my daughter's 21st there last week, food was wonderful (and alot of it) and the cake and characters were great too.
We brought the cake home and finished it off on Sunday!
