It's totally different that what I expected to buy. I fell in love with this one dress that has lace in three tiers, but then I tried on this one and it felt right. I like the traditional look of the front, but wasn't fond of the pick up detail in the train. But then they bussled it, and I just knew. The seamstress picked up two of the apliques and brought them all the way up to my hips (not halfway up like I've normally seen) and the back just looked awesome!

That's funny, Sandy. We have 65 days til disneyland. We take the kids every year for the mickey's halloween treat. DS (5) is going to be Jack Sparrow! The costume with the wig and hat and accessories will end up being like $70! But it will be so worth it, I'm sure it will be the cutest sight ever! My new cruise news is my in-laws want to go as well. Which is awesome, they are great and hubby and I can do palo and stuff! So we are excited about that and the kids know that means twice the souvenirs! Hope you all have a great week!

You better post pictures! That's great about the inlaws! Are they going to be joining your suite or getting their own?

I've still been playing with DISigns for the door - I'm forcing myself to stop at 4! Currently at 2, but working on our Pirate Night door sign!

The future in laws are coming in on Tuesday, so I'm off to clean the house! Have a great rest of the week! It's halfway over!

Hey Girls, long time no talk! We've been crazy around here... DS started kindergarten last week. Hope everyone is doing well. We have a trip coming up to disneyland in Oct, then I will be able to give the cruise the total obesession it deserves!! Just to be on topic for a second, we are at the first dining.

Is it full day school for him? My friend's child starts this year too - and she's concerned on how her 3 year old will do with him gone. How are *you* handling it??

Hopefully we are on the earliest of the second dining...last cruise was the absolute latest dining possible - and we missed most of the Pirate Night Party! We almost missed the fireworks!

Yeah, Carter's Kindergarten is full day. I hated the idea of it when I first heard, but by the end of the summer (and endless cries of I'm Bored!) I think it is good. Madeline (DD) is 2 and I was really worried about her being upset with brother gone, but I actually think she likes having all mommy's attention. Carter gets home at 2 so he still has most of the afternoon to be annoyed by sis. Seems to be working out well. I was a sad the first week of school, but I'm getting used to it. They grow up so fast!!

We celebrated our 16th anniversary last month so we probably have a few years on you ladies. However, that does not stop me from being an obsessive planner.
We had planned to cruise this October but decided to postpone for another year and include some MNSSHP time. We always get a cat 9 cabin as we usually don't spend a lot of time in our room. We have main dining.
I will be checking in frequently to say hello.
I cannot wait to cruise.

Welcome Rochelle! It's sounds like you've cruised with Disney before! It's addicting,isn't it?? We're a fun bunch, and age doesn't matter when Disney is involved!!! Thanks for the comments on the dress - I'm getting so excited it's finally becoming "real" to both of us!

Welcome Rochelle! I had to laugh when I saw "obsessive planner".... maybe we could start a club! We could get our spreadsheets and tables together and have refreshments! My husband doesn't get it... I'm so glad to have a place to chat with friends who understand!! My family, me, DH, DS (will be 6 almost 7), DD (will be 3) and MIL and FIL have the main dining also. We'll have fun counting down the days together!!

I saw the thread Channon!! Very cute... I am all about the little "extra magic" things!
You girls are going to think I am CRAZY!! I just bought a bunch of stuff for DD for the cruise! Hehehe.. At gymboree, they had their "bon voyage" collection 60% off. Really, what was I supposed to do?? The whole collection mixes and matches so it's completely practical. The clothes have anchors and hearts, one of the shirts says "SS Cutie pie" Come on, who can pass that up?? Have a good week everyone!!

I agree with what Heather says! If it's in the stars - I'd still try to do the cruise. CONGRATS!!! BTW - what are you doing now??
Any "extra" money that I earn at work (overtime, paid mileage, bonuses) goes to the trip in October, and after that, it'll all go towards the honeymoon. Currently I'm working EVERY Saturday in September (and a Friday here and there at another office, so that's paid mileage for me too!) so I'm looking forward to that extra 4 hours on each check and the mileage money for the F&WF booths!
The fish extenders look really neat. I'm amazed at what people think of to bring more magic to a vacation.
