I feel your pain! When I first stumbled onto this website I couldn't "break the code." I kept messaging my boyfriend who use to work there to see if he knew. Then I resorted to using Google and then I found this thread that explained it all. Apparently they won't let me post it until I have posted 10 times, and since I only have 4, I can't do it. But you can use Google and use search sentences like "what does MNSSHP mean?" and it usually will bring up something.

Is everyone dressing up for the Pirates In the Caribbean party? I have a costume my Mom made me a few Halloweens ago and I was going to wear it to MNSSHP as well as the Party, but my bf keeps saying that it's too much. I tried to tell him that EVERYONE dresses up, but he doesn't believe me... So you guys dress up right?

Courtish - Are you going to MNSSHP On 10/2? That's when we are going. My boys are dressing up as pirates so that they can use the same thing for the Pirate Party. I'm not sure if DH & I will dress up or not. I'll have to see what I can throw together when the halloween stuff comes out.

Lisaradz: We are going on October 2nd! Last year when we went around this time we opted out because we thought it wouldn't be worth it, but when we saw all those people dressed up we were so jealous! So we made sure to include it in our trip, and I already bought the tickets, so that's it, were in. Like I said before, I'm going as a pirate, although it is a little debatable if it's really a pirate or perhaps a skimpy governors daughter type costume. The picture on the pattern template had the girl next to some treasure so I just assumed, but when I went out on Halloween everyone would ask me and then they would all debate if it counted as a pirate. If I could figure out how to post a picture (or even if it will let me!) I will get all of your opinions. My Boyfriend was going to go as a gorilla, because he bought this awful gorilla costume last year. I think they won't let him because of the mask, and it will be WAY too hot. So we decided that if he could find a proton pack he would be a ghostbuster. Because really that's all he ever wants to be for halloween.

As for The pirate party on the ship.... perhaps he will be a ghostbusting pirate? lol

I'm not sure about the price, but an inflatable proton pack is awesome!

He actually already has that costume. The proton pack met an untimely death two years ago, and it popped. So we were thinking of trying to get a little more legitimate and go with a semi real flight suit (one that could be sewn so it fit him better), and then perhaps the toy proton pack from eBay. There is a fear that Disney will say its a "gun" and therefore not allow it. so I don't know.

Funny that you found the exact one he has already worn through though He is so particular about his costumes... jeesh. Just be a pirate with me!

We did MNSSHP in 2006 right after the DVC Member Cruise and loved it! We dressed like pirates so that we got to use our costumes twice. While walking around MK people thought we were part of the show and asked us where to pick up their bracelets? How to get another goodie bag? DH gave his to the little boy but then told me not to give mine up because he wanted some candy too!

I don't know if everyone in our group would be up for doing this though. I'll need to check and see if tickets are still available for after the cruise. What's the cost for adults this year?

I got my Cruise Line DVD planning kit yesterday! I requested it because I thought I could put it on in the back ground whenever there is nothing to watch and I have to clean or something. Just to get me in the mood. So far they haven't told me anything new, but it still is nice to get to see everything spelled out for me.

It occurred to me that there really isn't much time left. I am the type of person that gets excited about it, but then when it's actually time to pack, I get weird and I don't want to do it. I have to be inspired. Which makes me think, perhaps I should just start packing now? You know get some travel size toiletries, bathing suits and put them in a separate location? I think I would have a hard time explaining that one to Doug... But when there is only 4 days to go you bet I'm going to be whining about not doing it when I was looking forward to packing!

OMG, you soud just like me. I had a hard time just packing for a two day trip to Santa Cruz this weekend. DH said, I should have a glass of wine and do a little packing each evening so it's not so overwhelming when the time comes.

Yippee! my kids start school tomorrow so after I inform the school, then I can tell them! It's been so hard to keep a secret, but I didn't want my kindergartner to inform his teacher on the first day that his mommy was pulling him out of school for a week to go to WDW & cruise...KWIM. I think they may frown on that. But we're going to anyway in 5 weeks!!!!

aboard! It is nice to see more people joining us. I am having some health issues so we haven't planned many activities this cruise but we will have our DGS (Kevin) and his parents with us. We are going to Palo for brunch and Kevin will be in the Oceaneer's Lab. We are probably going to dress up Pirate Night but won't be doing MNSSHP this trip but will spend 2 nights at BCV after the cruise. I can't wait! Annmarie

I realized when I looked at the first page there really isn't a lot of information about eveyone even though some people have been posting for a while (or at least I have). As you all know by now, my name is Annmarie (aka BCVOwner2002) 40 something. DH is Tom (50 something but acts like a kid). I think he is going to be disappointed when he finds out he can't be part of the Oceaneers Lab like our DGS! I will let the other members of our group provide their own information.

I am Patty...I live outside of Atlanta...I will be cruising with my son Sean who is almost 12 and my dau Dani who is 5. It doesn't look like my boyfriend is going to be able to get the time off work to go with us as we are going in the middle of college football season....he works for UGA...but we still have the spot reserved for him and still have our fingers crossed.'

I really hope all these hurricanes stop popping up out in the middle of the atlantic...I want a stress free cruise.
