Diane Is thinking about tye-dying mickey shirts for the cruise. She picked up a tye-dye kit and reading the directions for a dry method and a wet method. I believe it refers to the tshirt being dry or wet when you tye-dye it. For those that have done mickey tye-dye shirts before which method did you use and do you have a preference?

Thanks for your suggestions!

I posted on the chat, but just for everyone ....

We used the wet method because the colors blend/feather more with that one.

Good luck!!!!

Hi pam775 and all!
I think we have the same life. I volunteered to do a fundraiser that has taken up each day of my life for about 3 weeks! Then it is my daughter's birthday next week and then when to pack?! I guess it will all get done!

Hi everyone..sorry I had to leave chat early last night...had a client call.

Started to sort through some of my clothes this morning trying to figure out what to bring! I heard it's really hot in Florida right now so hopefully it stays warm when we are there:goodvibes I had to take out winter jackets today:sad2:

Every time I dyed shirts they have been wet. Still haven't sone mine yet. If I had my time back though I would have bought orange shirts and bleached them instead.

Thanks for the T-Shirt tip Jaime, we will attempt them this weekend as it seems it is going to be a wet and windy weekend in NJ.

But the good thing is : Key West Sunny High of 87
Grand Cayman Partly Cloudy High of 87
Cozumel Cloudy High of 81
Castaway Cay Sunny High of 87

I am right there with you - well not the throwing up part, but the freaking out part! :scared1: And I am officially "having one of those days" today too! Calgon, take me away!

Thanks, I'm glad I'm not the only one!!

I feel *a little* better today. I have stuffed some of my FE gifts. I need to finish stuffing, and then, I can put the tags on. Whew. What a job!!! I still need to print out magnets, too.....

Shell glad you are feeling better. I hope Jaydin is too. Colby went to school today. He only had the fever for one day and only got sick once.

Awww...thanks, Pam!! I just have the 'too-much-to-do' disease. :) It will be better in about 13 days.

Jaydin is always fine after she gets up the next morning. This is just something that we live with.

I'm SOOOOOO glad that Colby is better!!!!! I hope no one else gets it and that it's totally out of his system.

Printing some magnets today! Laminate and magnetize tomorrow, perhaps.

Hi everyone,

Jeff is in Toronto and I'm here with Elyse who is now on her second day with a fever above 100. I pray that nobody else gets this "thing". :scared1: Doc did a rapid flu test which came back negative but just wishes she would get better soon.

Anyway, just wanted to post and say hi. Jeff is normally the one who does this but figured, well, I'm home, may as well say hi to everyone.

Two weeks and counting. . . And we still don't have everything done yet.

See you all soon.
Holly

Just because I am in Toronto, doesn't mean I can't post.
Anyway, I just posted my facebook status for today. Only those of you here will actually understand the proper meanging

"2 weeks from this very moment I will be all loaded up"

To quote Arnold in "Total Recall" - "2 weeks, 2 weeks"

Hi Holly! Good to see you on here. I hope Elyse feels better.
Adam had it for about 5 days, 3 days of high fevers.

So....

We are going to pick up Eric's tux from dry cleaners today. Mailing package to MIL (I know, i still have not done that yet.) I think I am going to start packing. There are some things I can actually get done.

Hi Holly, glad to see you posting... So sorry Elyse is sick but better now than in a two weeks right.

I dont have everything done either. John is out of town for the weekend so I plan to start this weekend with the real packing and organizing .

Two weeks from now I should be leaving NC entering SC on our drive down :cool1:

Two weeks from now, I will be running around making sure last minute stuff is done. Off work, and will pick the kids up early from school and head to the airport. Two weeks! So much to do, I am so glad I am very busy these next weeks, it will make the time fly.

Two weeks from now I will be off from work, doing last minute packing of suitcases and the car. Diane is working till 12, and we will take the girls out middle school and high school early at 12:30 and 12:45. Hope to be on the road to Philadelphia Airport by 1:30 for our 5:15 PM flight to Orlando!

Thankfully my sister gave us a few of her extra Southwest drink coupons for the flight. I am sure that Diane and I will be ready to relax with a cocktail as we fly over Kelly and John somewhere over Georgia on their ride down. :cool1:

Sorry, I forgot to post the answers. I've been very busy with work. Last minute trip to Toronto. I also assumed no one was interested since there was not even a single guess. Personally I thought they were all pretty easy.

2 = the number of Saturdays until the cruise (at time of posting question)
126 = the number of people in our FE group
1054 = the lowest cabin number in our FE
2296 = the number of the post which asked the question
8542 = the highest cabin number in our FE

Hi Holly,

I hope Elyse feels better real soon. Colby was home earlier this week for two days with a fever. So I know what you're going through. I'm praying Alyson doesn't get sick now.

Just two weeks and we'll be in Florida on our way to Downtown Disney for the day and then over to the port!! :) I better get off the computer and get packing. It's a little hard to pack right now because if I bring down the suitcases the kids will want to know what is going on. We have decided to wait and tell the night before we leave. I've kept it from them this long I guess I can wait another 13 days. It's killing me!!!!!!

Have a great weekend everyone.

That just means I am a few drinks behind you at the meet-up Friday night so you will be buying :)

NJ 40 and Raining
Key West 86 and Partly Cloudy
Cayman 88 and Sunny
Cozumel 77 and Sunny

How much longer?????

Two weeks from now we should be (better be for my sake) of the train and at our hotel on Coco Beach. Sitting by the Pool with a drink that has some kind of umbrella in it.
