Now that my wife is winding down her job at the preschool for summer, she is thinking about possibly participating in the fish extender exchange for our cruise.

The question that she has is when figuring out numbers for the items is it an item per participating cabin, per listed child in cabin or, per family member in the cabin.

If anyone gets the chance to clarify this when they get the chance it would be appreciated.

I think it is your choice. My plan is to do something for each child, and then one cabin gift (more towards adults). i have some other gift ideas, that if it is not to costly and I can pull it off, I may do something else that will be for each adult as well.

I have not start my gifts yet, just a list of my ideas.

This is totally up to each family, some are doing gifts for all the kids, some are doing gifts for families some are doing gifts for several nights, it's really up to you and your comfort level and timing to get them together.
I am doing the tally in the website in as many ways as I can think of to help with each cabins planning.. We right now have a family gift in the works and I have other ideas for other things if I have the time and the costs are reasonable.

Hey all. I haven't chimed in recently. It has been just insane in my world. Anywho, it is with great sadness that I must remove our names from this list. I can't complain too much since we have done 3 Disney cruises and still have another planned for 2010. But a combination of cost and the fact that our school district didn't stay true to form giving the kids the full week weighed on the decision. We are changing to a shortened trip to the World instead. I will think of u all as u sail away. For the folks where this is your first Disney cruise...enjoy. It is awesome!!!

We will miss you, but we understand.

Wish I could tell you. I missed it, too. I couldn't connect at the hospital. I was a little too loopy that night to chat, anyway. My initial recovery was a little .... rocky.

Our Travel packey arrived today from Disney! It listed our dates when we could book our excursions, our formal wear rental forms and other things to order for gifts, flowers, bon voyage gifts, champagne andf excursion descriptions!

I know ... tell me about it. I will be devastated if we have to change it. Jared has to ship no later than Nov. 3, but it could be any time between now and then. We won't want to miss his boot camp graduation (obviously), so we'll have to watch how things go to see if it's going to work out. I HATE the thought of changing, but what else can we do?!

Yes we are Paid in full. We used DVC points to pay for myself and the two kids as third and fourth in cabin. I paid in full for my wife as the second. We had points that needed to be used and it was cheaper oout of pocket by doing it this way.

I wanted to chime in and say hi. We finally booked our trip last week. Can't wait.... We did the 4 day wonder in Aug of 05 and now are doing the 7 day Magic. I am trying to read up and catch up on everything. You can include us in the Web site and stuff. Looks like another from NJ is joining the boat DW, DD (13), DS (12) and DS (8)
