Hi! New to disboards. We are a family of 5: DW ( ME), DH ,
DD (11), DS (8) and DS (5) cruising our first cruise on October 31st on the Magic. We are friends with Bdette 1971 and Glo423. I am interested in joining the following activities: fish extenders, lanyards, and meet and greet. We are 2nd seating for dinner. Our cabin # has not been assigned yet. I am also interested in the chat meets on Wednesday nights. I am looking forward to a great cruise!

Welcome. We are also from central NJ, and my DS will be a a few months shy of 8 at the time of the cruise.
There are also a LOT of us from NJ on this cruise, so I am in the process of organizing a pre-cruise NJ meet sometime this summer. Great to let the kids meet before hand so they have a familiar face when they get on board.

Packing - we started to create a cruise pile within days of booking the trip. When we find/buy something that we don't need until the cruise it goes into the pile. I'm sure most of our summer stuff will be in that pile by mid to end September. We also have a check list already in the works. Then packing on the night before is no big deal. It is just a matter of putting things into the suitcase and checking items off the list.

FEs - We purchased out first item over the weekend. But we only got 50. Are we going to have more than 50 kids. I hope not.

The total number of children is 44: 9 between newborn and 5 years old, 24 between 5 - 10 years old, 8 between 10 - 13 years old, and 3 above 14 years old.

You can find this anytime on the top of the FE list... I update it as cabins are added and subtracted..

Welcome! We had a DD who is turning 12 in July and my DS just turned 8 as well! We are hoping to start a chat for younger kids, but please have you daughter join us for Monday night chats. Hope to "see" you on Wednesday night chat.

Hi Fab.. Welcome to the group.... I will get you set up tomorrow on the cruisemates list and the FE listing. Shell (Ntheory) is handling the lanyards so just let her know what you need.

Hey all. I haven't chimed in recently. It has been just insane in my world. Anywho, it is with great sadness that I must remove our names from this list. I can't complain too much since we have done 3 Disney cruises and still have another planned for 2010. But a combination of cost and the fact that our school district didn't stay true to form giving the kids the full week weighed on the decision. We are changing to a shortened trip to the World instead. I will think of u all as u sail away. For the folks where this is your first Disney cruise...enjoy. It is awesome!!!
