Hello Everyone,
I just returned from a 4 nite on the Wonder and rebooked on board for this cruise. I am very excited to go on another Disney cruise! We are from NJ also (Jersey shore) and it will be me (42), DH (45), DD (14) and DS (9) - at time of sailing. We are in a catergory 6 with a GTY. Does this mean that the category 6 is all filled up already? :confused3 We were on Deck 2 last week and loved it but this time I really wanted a verandah.

Has anyone gone in November? What was the weather like? Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Michele

We are booked into a Cat 6 and Cat 11. Our family is: DH (Gerald), myself (Krista), DD13 (Alexandra), DD8 (Madeline) and DS6 (Benjamin).

We are excited to get to know everyone on this thread! It seems so far away!

Welcome new Halloween Hunts Cruisers...

It's great how many are joining in... We are going to have so much fun, I can't wait. I will update the website in the next few days with your info. Trying to get some things done in the yard before Hannah and her rains visit Virginia.

Hi Krista! I bet the EB was a lot of fun!

It was so much fun! I would say it was our best family trip we've ever taken. My DD8 cries daily, wanting to be back on the ship. I'm so glad we booked this cruise to have something to look forward to, even if it is a ways off! :)

Hi Krista,
My daughter had a hard time meeting people also. She didn't want to go to the teen club and hung around with us most of the time. I would love for her to meet some kids her age on this cruise.

Also would like to join the meet and Fish Extenders!!
Me(38), DH(43). Our first cruise too! WooHoo!!

Is it time to go yet?

Hi Michelle…I hope this picture is clear enough…it hangs of the little fish in the hall next to your door. There is instructions on the main DIS cruise site on how to make them...other cruisers...most from our meet put little gifts in them...we got things like Halloween candy...pirate gear...glow bracelets…our girls got some really cute princess stuff...our girls even got some beautiful bookmarks with there names on it...it was a lot of fun…everyday there seemed to be something new…we brought smarties (Canada's version of M&M's) and some pirate tattoos...we just took our time and went throughout the cruise to the different staterooms…we also left a small note pad and pen in our fish extender so we could leave notes to each other…worked well when we did different activities…also having our door decorated made it alot easier to find our room...even the little boy across the hall used our door to find his room:) We had some really nice door magnets left on our door too!

We also had a cruise meet the first day where we a had a gift exchange at our cruise meet everyone brought one $15gift with them representing where they were from….we then picked names out of a hat.

I might be interested in doing the fish extender but am not really sure how it works or where to get one. If someone can send me a link that explains it i would greatly apprecite it. Thanks
Yes, me too please.

I am not crafty by any stretch, so is there a place I can get an extender? I would really love to get involved. I would also like to get some of these cute graphics I have seen on other threads. How do we get those in magnet form?

Are we the only Marylander's?

Thanks everyone! I'm so excited.:woohoo:

Hi Kristen,

We actually bought ours from a DISer...we love it and use it even at home for putting things in. Her detailing is amazing she even has mickey knobs put on it. We plan on using ours for this cruise too.

Also our dollar store had simple halloween three pocket candy holders that could be used as a Fish Extender...not sure how long they would last but it would serve the purpose.

There are many different people on these boards who will make signs for you for free we had some made for our first cruise and all you have to do then is print them off on magnet paper or regular paper and put a peel and stick magnet on back. Have fun in your search:goodvibes

This time I am using Disney Pix 2 software...it came with dd's camera and has great graphics for magnets...if you can't find anything pm me and maybe I can help.:goodvibes

Anyone start thinking of flights yet? I know we are still far out, but do any airlines post schedules a year out? Does anyone have a list of airlines and when they typically release prices and schedules?

Is it best to book as soon as the flights are released (like for the cruise), or is it better to wait and keep checking deals?

Hey everyone... I went down and saw the Magic in dry dock yesterday..

She is beautiful... I am now beyond excited about our 4 day in three weeks and then our Halloween cruise next year.

I wanted to share the link to the pictures I took.. If you wish to see them click here

Have a great week.

I think for an Oct. date it might be best to wait for awhile. I know NWA has been having quite a few fare sales lately with travel dates through Oct. That being said if I see good flight times under $250/pp I will book the tickets right away.

Hi and welcome to all new creisers!! It has been a while since I last checked in and I am glad to see we have new passanagers on board. The family spent a week at BW the end of August and it was our best trip ever. We hooked up with some old freinds from MI. I spent the week trying to convince them to join us next November. Looking forward on concentrating on this trip next(unless my DW slips another one in between).
