Ok, guys ....... last call - anyone need to make changes, order, or delete an order for lanyards. Let me know as soon as possible. I hope to have all prices and info for you this weekend.

Looks like we are getting a new show on the Magic!!

I"m excited but a little worried too. Seems like it is villain based and I know my little one was a bit scared at the villains in the fantasmic show, Ursula in little mermaid, and a few others. And we will be much closer to this one. Let's hope its good.

I would still rather get the toy story show. This is our first cruise and we haven't seen it and I heard that is the best show on both ships.
 
When is our FE cut off date.
We have started to buy stuff already and I am worried that we didn't get enough.
We need to cut this off real soon and firm up the counts.
I would say maybe 1 week after the pay in full date.

NJ pre cruise meet and greet chat tonight (Tuesday) 8pm.
All of the details are pretty much set, so this is just a last minute confirm and chat about anything else.

Here is a link to probably the best written explanantion on FE I ahv seen to date.. While it speaks to the pocast cruise, just replace that term with Halloween Haunts cruise and you will have all the info you need

Jeff it was decided awhile ago that September 15th would be the cutoff date.

I am currently budgeting for 40 (our number has remained between 30-32 for the last 2 months so I am pretty confident that 40 will be the max.

We apologize for not posting in FOREVER! We're at WDW now and decided to catch up on all the cruise news. We're still going to be joining you all on the cruise. Can't wait!! Hope to post more frequently now.

40? I assume that is just kids right? We were getting for 50 kids and were clueless about adults. Do people give the adults?

Sorry I should have been clearer. Ours is a cabin gift so the 40 refers to the number of cabins we are budgeting for.
 
WHEW! I was getting worried last night at 12:00 am when it was 105 days out and I couldn't book anything. So, I signed off, signed back on and VIOLA! There is was, right in front of my eyes, like seeing Cinderella's Castle for the first time--the ability to make reservations!!! I secured Palo for November 1, our 6th year anniversary, Palo for brunch for the three adults (by then Kyla should be well adjusted in the kid's club) and Palo for high tea for my DH and DM. I also checked Kyla into the kid's club, can't wait to see her reaction when she sees it for the first time. I booked the Dolphin Discovery in Cozumel last night on our own, saving over $200 by doing so versus going through DCL. If you have bad news about doing this, don't tell me please : ) . I am hoping that I did the right thing. I couldn't imagine spending $400 for one excursion. Hope everyone is doing well. Hope to be on the chat on Sunday.

did you contact Dolphin Discovery directly or did you use an agency? please provide any information because I am looking into doing the same thing.

We were getting things per person (more for the kids of course). That is going to be well over 100 people. Some of the things we are clearly not going to have enough of now, and I don't think we can get more. So I guess we will be giving out different gifts.
The only plus side is I know my kids will be getting a lot of stuff!

Also, we are dividing up by days right? Each cabin will have 1 day this way the kids get everyday (and my horribly made FE doesn't get overstuffed and break!)

Yes after September 15th everyone will get a night to deliver except for Friday night since we have to pack up). We will take the number of families participating and divide by the number of nights and then sort everyone to a night based on the numbers needed.

Or *day* right?? I would prefer to deliver mine through a day.


One thing, though. Last time, we had 50 rooms. I found it impossible to deliver to all 50 rooms in one day. I spread it out over several days, and it still wore me out.

I just don't have all of the logistics worked out on this at this point and was curious on how it will work.

I'm planning for 48 rooms at this time, and will adjust as needed.
