Wow, this is a busy thread.
I went to try to get my mind straight on how I should start packing, but I cant concentrate....I'm too excited.... LOL

So, I came back to the computer and saw your replies.

They will be there.

My oldest was also worried about kids his age.
We always sail off peak and there are always fewer kids.
But this is Disney and Disney ships ALWAYS have kids!
We last sailed The Magic in 2007 and I will be so glad to see her again.

Someone asked about the night before. We are actaully driving down Saturday. We live in Savannah so its not a bad drive from here.

Well, I borrowed suitcases from mom, so we have our bags, now we can pack. My DD got her homework packet today for next week. As she is only in 1st grade, it isn't too bad. I am a little worried about what DS's might look like He is trying to wheel and deal with his teachers to do the work in class. We booked this trip in April last year - feels like it's been so far away so long - can't believe it's here!!!!

I feel like I really over packed last time. Even though I have no idea what I plan to wear each day, I tried to plan it out so I pack what I definitly need and think twice about what I do not. Hopefully it works!

We have 4 suitcases, 1 suitcase with FE stuff and 1 hanging bag plus my carry on bag..I will re look at everything Thursday night when I dont have dogs climbing all over everything and can concentrate.

It was so sad this morning when my 4y/o woke up and thought we were leaving today. It broke my heart to have to tell him it wasn't until tomorrow. But tomorrow mrning is going to be so great!!!. I think I will wake the boys up to some Disney music and maybe even the Disney Magic horn.

We're new to this Disboards, we're in Cabin 8528, I'm traveling with my Husband, which I guess you call a DH and son, which you call a DS. If I'm getting the lingo right.

I have a few questions and I know it's kinda late to get on the bad wagon everyone is leaving soon, we live in Davenport, FL so we don't have far to go to get to the port.

What is a FE????

This is our tenth cruise with Disney. And just can't get enough. Hope to meet the others on Deck 8.

We also have packing lists and cruise information there.

A FE is a Fish Extender. The easiest way to explain it is that it is like a Christmas Stocking that is hung outside your cabin and secret cruise mates come by throughout the cruise and drop small gifts into it.

Unfortunately because of the time it takes to shop and create the gifts our list of those wishing to participate is closed. Sorry about that.

I hope you can make it to some of our meet-ups. The more the merrier. See you this weekend!

Good Morning everyone! It is a rainy, yucky, day here. Wish I could stay home and pack and play on DisBoards instead of going to work.

The last 24 hours was way too stressful for my mom. Luckily, they are starting their vacation today. They live in Wyoming and there is a big snow storm coming in tomorrow that could wreak havoc for those flying from Denver Intl (my parents and grandma). They were able to change their reservation and fly out this evening. My poor mom was planning to go to FedEx to overnight our cruise documents so if they couldn't make it at least we could get on the ship. (Now I know where my type A, stressed-out, over-planning personality comes from.) I will sleep easier knowing they are there.

Last night was good. Got more things crossed off the list. Put a travel notification on my credit cards, finished last minute magnets...

Shell, I'm so excited that you were able to talk to your son. And awesome that he is an expert marksmen.

Happpy to hear that your mom was able to make arrgements to cahnge her flight.

You mentioned a credit card travel notification, could you explain that a little.
