OCTOBER 30th & NOVEMBER 3rd Cruises (FE and Meets)

Hi there today is a good day. I am about to go to work for the night. I hope we can get a list for the FE and for the scrapbooking for how many people soon that has the right names and rooms. I am starting my gifts and they are coming out pretty good. Cant wait to give them to you all. Do we have to put who they are from? you all have a great day. bye

I have received gifts that had name tags others didnt. I think that is just a personal preference. When I go to a lot of work to make home made gifts I would probably add my name because I am proud of what I did and want people to know I made it for them. If I did candy or bought items I just leave them with no name.
But its up to you. Do it how ever you want to.

And maybe 50 cabins, that is a lot to pack for, even on my longer cruises once we got over 30 we split the group and some people joined multiple groups, at their choice.

We did decide on a cut off date 30 days prior to the cruise. But we also voted that once we do that if we have late people who want to join up for the FE we would let them ,but also would explain to them that they may not receive many things because people who made home made items or ordered gifts dont have time to make more. If they still want to participate after knowing that we will allow it.

Then those who want can give a gift. It can be as simple as post cards you get on the ship or a candy item they sell on board if you dont have room to pack for one more family.


I'm sure if we get to 50 cabins people may consider voting again to see if the majority want to divide the list, but that may also be bad for those who have already made home made gifts for all of those people.
So it may wind up if you want to give to all rooms, then do, if you dont have room to pack for that many, then just do what you can. Either way people will still receive alot of gifts throughout the cruise.

I'm also sure this topic will be discussed many times the next couple months and if people want to vote on this again we can. Majority rules. After all this is everyones cruise so no one person has the right to make the decision about this.

WOW! A lot happened since I've last been on! I've been crazy busy, I volunteer a lot, and Mother Nature has certainly made herself known. I have helped out with tornado and flood in St. Louis, and Moorehouse. MO. Returned home to my sons kindergarten graduation, and my daughters college graduation, both on the same day. Kids are out for the summer, and its crazy with them all home!

We are traveling with family and friends for this cruise. My 2 youngest haven't cruised yet, so they are super excited! Mt daughter (mandrain) was going to cruise with us, but had to cancel, disney and her doctor won't let her cruise, her baby is due 3 weeks after the cruise.
Want to do the FE, have cruised 6 times, and have never heard about this till now, sounds like fun.

Welcome I am Stephanie, DH is Pete, and DD Kayla...age 6 now, but turning 7 on July 8th. We live near Orlando, and DH and I both work at WDW. This will be my 13th DCL, DH 11th, and DD 8th. We have also taken 1 Carnival, and we are sailing on our 1st RCCL in 37 days! Living in Florida, cruising is our favorite vacation.

Hi Sue, nice to see you posting today. I did get all of you added to the list and sent you a copy of the list so if you didnt get it, please let me know.
I have terrible internet service here so sometimes things do make it the first try.

I am still recovering from vacation. Its cool and cloudy today but suppose to warm up and be 70 today and 90 by the 4th of July. Finally we are going to get some summer weather here.

Thinking about making chinese food for dinner tonight, just to be different. Greg is stopping at a local fruiy stand today after work for some fresh strawberries for dessert.

sorry I havent been on much its been a busy summer fathers day weekend bbq's with friends, a new nephew and so much more. Hope everyone is as excited as i am for this upcoming trip i am flying down with my nephew and his stepsister we get in around 8pm the night before we board. I need to start my packing list so i dont get everything at once. well does anyone have any fun 4th of july plans?

Just wanted to say Have a great 4th of July weekend everyone

No plans here. Usually too crowded everywhere and crazy drivers for us.

We will probably crank up the BBQ and then watch some movies. It's suppose to be 90 on the 4th so a BBQ is perfect instead of heating up the house.

Spent my Canada Day morning at the u-pick-it berry farm. It was great to be able to get out and do something I love again. The Farm is just 15 minutes away, which is extra nice since I live in a large metro centre.

4lbs of strawberries, white zucchini, sugar snap peas, all fresh from the fields...awesome!

Spent my Canada Day morning at the u-pick-it berry farm. It was great to be able to get out and do something I love again. The Farm is just 15 minutes away, which is extra nice since I live in a large metro centre.

Happy Canada Day! Sounds great about the u-pick farm. I wish we had something like that closer to us. We do enjoy the citrus groves and strawberry fields, but our favorites are not in season right now. I did get to pick a few veggies from our garden (containers in my yard). I just picked some tomato and jalepeno. Now I am craving some fresh veggies!

Space to garden is the only down side to living in a Condo, at least the trees come up and over our balcony so it feels like we are in a small yard.

Hi Everyone! Just stopping by to say hi. We have been so busy this summer I haven't had time to turn around, much less check the boards. My older DD finished her first round of summer classes yesterday, though, so no more getting up at 6:30. That helps!

We are having heat indexes close to 106 here in the tundra right now. Hard to decide if we should go to the beach or just stay in the AC. Looking forward to picnics, movies, and fireworks this weekend.

Well, I am spending this holiday weekend working 3/4 days. It's a busy weekend at WDW. Thankful my shift tonight is now 545pm-1145pm, which allows me to be home by 12:15am tomorrow morning, so I will head straight to the laptop to sign on to do our online check in. DD is spending the night at a friend's house tonight, and DH is working at MK tonight and tomorrow morning, so after everything on DCL, I can get some sleep in the morning. That will be helpful since tomorrow I work 645pm-315am (lovely extra magic hours at Magic Kingdom). I am one of the lucky ones with an early shift on July 4th...working 6am-230pm, and since DH is off, that means family time in the afternoon and evening.

DD turns 7 a week from today! We are taking her to Hoop-Dee-Doo for her birthday dinner on Fri 7/8. We are going to have friends and family over next weekend to celebrate, and then we have her party on Sun July 17th at Mickey's Retreat, Disney Cast Member Recreation area. Another interestinf fact about us...DH proposed on 7/8/2002, 2 years to the date before DD was born. 7/7 marks my 15th WDW company anniversary...busy week of celebrating ahead!

Well, it's 12:52am, DD is registered for the kid's clubs, we have Palo dinner and Palo High Tea reserved...no brunch ressies available. Remy is wide open, but we aren't really interested in spending an extra $75 pp, especially on this 1st of our Dream cruises. We want to enjoy all the main dining rooms, and Palo (that's free) on this upcoming trip. 120 days until we are cruising on the Dream!

PS The online check in piece is not open yet...it does say we can check in online starting 7/2, which is now, but at least we could book most of what we wanted...I will revisit the online check in in the am.
