If you could go either time, which would be better with regard to CROWDS.

We have always visited in the summer, with the last time being on the 4th of July. :crowded:  It was WAY TOO HOT and WAY TOO CROWDED!!! We are definitely going this fall, but just trying to choose an optimal time.

It'll be roughly the same either of those times. No major differences, if crowds are your criteria.

You might want to check when "Jersey Week" is this year (when most all schools are out in New Jersey, I believe, and everyone migrates to Disney World.) I think it usually occurs the first week in Nov. , so that may be a consideration. October would be nice so that you could also hit a MNSSHP.

Just my two cents...

We are going Nov 5th - 9th with daughter, neice and nephew!
We went at the beginning of October in 1999 and never waited in line longer
than 20 minutes...but I am not sure if that has changed now.

I am a little concerned about the so-called "Jersey Week" as well.
Hoping those who have went at this time will post their estimated wait times
for lines.... both choices are better than going during peak time I hear...

Thanks to all who post their comments....

We were there last year at the exact time in October. I was expecting it to be less hot and less humid. I was way wrong. We basically melted. When I inquired about the heat and humidity, locals say it doesn't really break until mid to late October. One thing nice about that was we were able to use the water parks and pools. Plus, we really enjoyed MNSSHP. However, if you are trying to escape crowds and heat, I would choose the November dates. The crowds were way up last year due to the popularity of MNSSHP and all the Sept vacationers that bumped their vacations to Oct due to the hurricanes. I won't go in early Oct. again - but mostly due to the humidity, we are not at all used to it and my kids just wilted in it.

Good luck!

We have been there twice around that time and both times it was very hot but the crowds were not to bad. We would pick Oct over Nov because we like the Halloween parties, WDW and Universal's.
