Julie....wow 45 pds that is amazing...how did you do it.

I have about 45 I need to lose by Oct 25th...is it possible...lol

Hey Luckey, we definatley should try to meet up even just for a few minutes. Be nice to put a name to the face before Sat.

Kim

Kim,

I wish I could tell you that it has been falling off magically...but no such luck! I have been at the gym ALOT, eating really healthy and taking alot of supplements. It has been alot of really hard work, but slowly but surely I am starting to see results. I am down almost three pants sizes.

I don't know about 45 in under six weeks, but I am living proof that it can be done. I have tried every fad diet there is for years, and finally when I have done it the right way...I am reaping the rewards! :cheer2:

OK...I will get off of my soapbox now. Just so everyone knows...I will be splurging on the Bushwackers....however, I think I may be having them at 10:00 AM - we have a shore excursion in the afternoon. Is the bar at Paradise Point open that early? :confused3 Someone, please give me good news...I don't want to miss them!!!! :sad1:

Yeah!!! It's Steph! I just love her - I hope she kicks hiney this time around. She deserves a good tribe. The other is Bobby John.

Very cool! Anyway, that was EVIL Johnna!!!! But very funny. You got me! I'm like - whoa! 6 weeks out - who the heck did they book with? That's funny!

Hey, I'll do a list of names/user names/stateroom #'s. That'd be fine. I could just post it on the first page and if anybody wants it, you could print it out from there. I've been trying to keep the list with everybody, but I know I'll have to quiz everyone again on whether anybody listed wants to NOT actually participate in the ToT'g - meaning, do those of you who are travelling without kids want to partake in handing out candy to the ghosts and goblins running around the ship? Anyway, if you want to let me know now, pm me. What I'll do is include a couple asterisks (**) next to those who will be handing out goodies.

Hi,

Since Moran Clan is no longer sailing with us, do we have an alternate plan for some kind of door magnets for the cabins that are participating in the Trick or Treating? I know that he had offerd to make them for everyone, but wondered if we had a new plan of action!

Thanks,

Bobby offered to send the templates that he had made to those who emailed him. He sent me one for each of our cabins - they came out fantastic! I just plan on printing them on really good firm paper and having them laminated at Kinko's. Then I'll just get some big magnets and glue them to the back. I should do that this week so I can see how they come out and what the cost is. I've never done anything like it before and I'm assuming that's how it's done. If there's an easier or better way, I'm all ears.:listen:

Trish,

The last post that I read, he was pretty disgusted with DCL because of the deposit thing. Do you think that he will still help us out?

Sorry, no drink. And NO tour of the suite. And when I see you at the port, I am gonna stick my tongue out at 'cha! :rotfl2:

Beano, OK  I will hang my head in shame.

And then stick my tongue out back at ya! ;)

Noticed a couple of people on the 10/13 cruise have posted they got upgraded.

:wizard: :wizard: COME ON PIXIE DUST :wizard: :wizard:

For those of you not crazy enought to taunt the doc gods, that is. ;) I am SOL I am afraid :rotfl:

Luckey: How are those "Cassie Originals" t-shirts coming? Still waiting for my creative brainstorm to kick in. :worried: Hope it kicks in soon!!

Here's one of the magnet graphics he did for me:

I love it!!! Send him a PM and see what he had for you. He may be pissed (and for good reason) but he did great work and was super nice about it.

Edited to add: I finished updating the cruisers list on page 1, post 13 of this thread. I added names and also added 2 ASTERISKS: ** next to those that will be partaking in the Trick or Treating that I know of. Now, the more the merrier - SO, if you want to partake in the Trick or Treating, please let me know so I can add your stateroom to the map. If you don't have a cabin # yet, no biggy. Still let me know if you want to pass out goodies to the little buggers, so I can add your name now and I'll get the # later for the maps. If I didn't put a name next to your User ID, it's because I couldn't find it. Let me know and I'll add it. If you want a significant other added, let me know their name and I"ll add them, too.

Thanks guys!! :)

Thanks Trish!!!! :cheer2: I appreciate it. I guess I suffer from that dreaded over-planitis. I love to make lists, do research, look at all the info and then over-analyze it....just can't seem to help myself. I have though, over the years, and 12 cruises, mostly cured myself of over-packitis. I am planning on taking Pookerella on the TOTing, if DH wants to go or doesn't want to stay in room to hand out candy, then I will make Miss Judit do it!!!! She seems to be the only person in the house that I can boss around that actually listens to me :confused3 Probably because I am the one that writes her check each week! :smooth: But I will make sure someone in the room does, it will be more fun for the kids the more rooms they can go to. Oh, but I guess that means I will have to go buy some candy huh??? Don't guess a handshake and a :wave2: will impress them too much.

I am so sad, after all that Survivor talk, I forgot and we were eating after Tim finally got in and I missed the first 24 minutes of the show :guilty: Does anyone want to fill me in on what I missed??? I came in a little bit before the immunity challenge. What did everyone think about it???

Lynne

When I was little, this lady down the street used to give each of us Trick or Treaters a penny. Course, we could actually buy something with a penny back then. A few years back this older gentleman around the block was handing out a penny to all the kids and they were looking at him like, "Hey dude, ***?" It was the talk of the block. Of course, the "older" people like my hubby and me got a big laugh out of it, but the younger folks were very offended by the "cheapskate". Don't know why I thought of that. I did when I read your post about giving out a handshake and a :wave2:, I suppose.

Survivor recap: You know by now the two surprise survivors are Steph and Bobby Jon. The tribes were very happy to get the seasoned survivors. Immediately after giving Steph to the blues and Bobby Jon to the yellows (don't ask me for those jibberish tribe names), they set out on their first reward challenge: an 11 mile hike through the jungle to see who could get to the "nice" camp first. Winner gets the camp. The yellows one, but all of the guys were laid up with dehydration and fatigue. The nurse (I think her name is Margaret) took care of them all - very nice. I thought it was a great challenge. We enjoyed the show. I'm glad that Jim got voted off because of his shoulder and the fact he tried to vote out Margaret after all she did for those guys. What a thank you! Anyway, that's my take on it. I'm glad Steph is in a good tribe - at least it appears that way. Oh, the football jock is lying to everyone saying he's actually a landscaper. He's afraid people will vote him out because of his "richness and popularity". :confused3

Good Morning all!!! :wave2:

Survivor is back...wahooo. Can you believe Jim tried to vote out the person who kept all those strong men going.......duh!!!! I think Steph needs to be careful, I think a few of the women in her group could quickly turn on her. I could be wrong just a early observation...I would like to see her win it all however.

I agree Beano, I watched that episode with Nick again last night and it still freaks me out. I hope they put the team back together for the season premiere next week. As for Big Brother, usually I have a favorite to win but this season it is a toss up between Janelle and Maggie, I didn't like Janelle in the beginning but if she does win she deserves it for lasting through the "friendship". Ivette just drives me nuts... :crazy2:

OK, time to get ready for work, have a great day everyone.

Kim

Morning!

6 weeks from right this minute, I will be on my way to the Radisson!!! WOOHOO!!! I can't wait! 15 days from now, we will be able to say "I am going on the Magic THIS MONTH"

I think I am going to need a DCL intervention!! :P

I'm a huge big brother fan too. I really want Janelle to win. I got sucked into reading the live feed boards, so most of what will happen tonight, I already know. :( I need to stop doing that. LOL!

The High Tea list shoudl be updated...just make sure when you check in that you tell them you are part of the "Dreams Tea" party. I think we have 16 or 17 now, but we can squeeze in and fit (it's made for 14)

I'm counting down the weeks now...

Sue Ellen

Sue - everytime I see your name, I hope that you are posting to tell us about Florida resident discounts! They have a bunch of open cabins...maybe they will!

Who has time to watch TV with all of this cruise prep to get done?

1. Exercise
2. Each carrots and celery
3. Exercise
4. Shopping for clothes
5. Shopping for media storage (tapes)
6. Exercise

Will have to watch it all on TIVO when the cruise is over.

I thought Survivor was pretty good. I hope somebody "outs" Gary. I don't think a player should be allowed to lie about their occupation or their name to not get voted off. He should have to take his chances like everybody else.
I am glad I wasn't on that hike! Geez, I thought Bobby John was gonna die! :faint: Should be a good season.

I'd also like to see Maggie and Janelle in the BB finale. Janelle has her work cut out for her, though. Ivetee needs to go away.

Ok - 6 weeks from right now... I'll be at the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot!

tarzanman - Have you been smoking something this morning??

Okay you seasoned cruisers, you've had great insight & advice about our Oct 29th cruise, I need some help.

DH and I are having a hard time choosing an excursion for St. Maarten. We've thought that maybe we should do the Under 2 Flags tour, just so we can do a little sightseeing (and it is cheap), but I've heard some mixed feelings about this excursion. We're splurging a little on spa treatments and other excursions, so we don't feel like we need to do something real big at St. Maarten. We've already done a catamaran race at Key West, so even though I hear great things about the 12 meter regatta or the golden eagle, I think we will pass.

Another one I'm kindof interested in if we don't do the 2 Flags tour is the Caribbean Duck Tour. Has anyone done this and what did you think?

Food and Wine Festival here as well....We really enjoyed it 2 years ago. Best part was watching the kids eat sushi.....don't think I can trick them again this year........... :rotfl:
