I'm glad you guys were able to get most of what you wanted. I'm sure that you can add 2 more to your Palo Ressie when you're onboard. The most important thing was to get a ressie in the first place - adding a couple people on is the easy part.
I thought it would be important since everyone's finalizing their ressies to make sure we got the ToT'g time figured out for Monday 10/31. Here's the pros/cons to each of the times:
10:00 - probably the earliest we could start. Pro: Get's it out of the way before lunch. Gives the kids a chance to get to know each other better and hopefully, most of them will want to hang out together afterwards and they have an entire day to do that. The kids are fresh and excited - will be a great way to start their day. Con: Some of us have brunch planned 10/11ish.
11:00 - Pro: Getting it done early, but still finishing before the Swwwwwuite party. Con: It's pretty much right in the middle of lunch and/or we're cutting into possible nap times for the littler folks.
12-3 are out because it conflicts with the party. Realistically, I don't think if we start at 12, we could all be done by 1 (including dropping kids off at their respective places).
3:30 - probably the latest we could start. Pro: It's not conflicting with morning plans. Cons: Well, there are lots that I see. I'll list them in order if greater con to lesser con. (1) We'll be giving a bag of candy to kids right before dinner - don't think the chocolate eating kids would sit still much during early seating, (2) Parents may be tipsy after the party, (3) It'll be hectic for some of us to round up our kids after the party, get them dressed and ready for the ToT'g, and meet up, (4) The party may still be going on at 3:30 (RonnieJo & Beano will probably have to kick us out of their room).
Later than that you get into conflicts with early seating and then late seating. Late seating ends around 9:45-10ish and that's when the costume party takes place, I believe.
There you have it. I'm heavily leaning toward 10 with the reason being the kids will be fresh and excited - a great way to start their day.
Feel free to chime in, give alternate options, whatever. We're in this together. Also, some of the jobs I see that we would need to have done are:
(1) If someone wants to make the paddles - I'm thinking we need 8 (2 per group). Paint stirrer sticks with poster board cut-out mickey heads sounds neat. They can be colored or not - up to the creative mind making them.
(2) The door magnets - I believe Bobby and Cindy offered. I think it would be a fantastic idea to have these on the ToT'g doors especially.
(3) Group leaders - I'll be one, but we need 7 more people. I figured I would help take a group of kids around and hubby will wait in the room.
I'll make the map to the ToT'g rooms for each group. Figured we would start by meeting in the atrium and ending there also. That way the kids who want to hang together can do so from there. We can keep families together if you wish or have the older kids in their own group.
Things we need to know:
(A) Time to start
(B) Paddle maker
(C) Door Magnets
(D) Group Leaders
(E) Families together or older kids in their own group
Thanks a million.

Have a great week!!!
