Hello All, :wave2:

It's great to see our ranks swelling and so many new people joining in lately. :goodvibes My DW and I have been trying to catch up on all the posts. We so looking forward to getting on board our first DC and finally meeting everyone. :grouphug:

We have been finalizing our plans to fly down the night before and stay at the Radisson Resort at the Port. We found some terrific fares out of Cinci, of all places, with a charter airline TMA. Their hub is Sanford, FL which is NE of Orlando. 20% cheaper than anything else and direct flights on big jets. :bounce: We plan to rent a car there and do 1 ways back and forth. Now we only need to decide on whatever excursions we may want to do. :moped:

Hope everyone is having a great Memorial Day weekend!!!

Hope everyone is enjoying this long weekend! How many bbq's are getting fired up? I know ours is getting the workout

Charlie: I've heard many disers' say that the Radisson is booked....me no know :confused3 ...as for us, we're gonna be at the Poly beforehand (I love that place  )

Enjoy today :sunny:

Hugs,

RonnieJo :flower: :mickeybar

Julie - Welcome to the craziness that is our cruise thread!!

Let me take the opportunity to invite you and your family to our DIS party on board ship, which is a private party for all of us who post here on this thread. It will be on Monday (Oct. 31st) at 1:00 P.M. in our stateroom. Lunch will be served (ok, it's a buffet, so you serve yourself!) and there will be plenty of food... and maybe even a drink ot two. :goodvibes

DW and I host this party every year, and each time it seems to be more fun, so this year's party should be a doozie! :earboy2:

We hope you'll join us! We'll hand out invitations at the port so you'll know when and where to be!

Do dyslexic athiests with insomnia lay awake at night wondering if there is a Dog?

'Beano'

Hmmm... so the party is on the 31st, huh? Chances are, then, that Cassie and Timmy will be trick or treating on their own--- After last year's party, was there anyone :confused3 capable of guiding children around to find candy ? Certainly not Chris :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: (ok, not me either :rolleyes1 ) Will the kids' club drag them around and then take 'em back to the Club/Lab? :confused3

Beano, did you say it's a "doozie" or a "boozie"? :earboy2:

Tim-ay! Glad to see you found your way back!

Later y'all :grouphug:

Cheri: What do you mean?? We were perfectly sober and capable :rotfl2: :rotfl2: ...I have no idea what you're talking about :rotfl:

Me want to go trick or treating...me love chocolate  . "Please sir may I have some more" :rotfl2:

Hugs,

RonnieJo :flower: :mickeybar

Beano--we need to make sure a bottle of Moscato finds its way to your stateroom for that party :teeth:

Fortunately I have a 14 y/o DD who can make sure her brother gets trick or treating okay :rotfl2:

(and I'm the one in the family that DOESN'T drink--well that is unless I'm on board the Disney Magic or Wonder--or don't have to drive, or.....) :rotfl:

Sue Ellen

Sue Ellen - Fortunately for you, this valley is rich in Muscato! It flows like wine around here. ;)

And I don't think you have to worry about driving. But you might have to help us keep the captain in line - that dude got sloshed last year! (Just kidding everyone). :earsboy:

Cheri - You crack me up, girl. "Boozie" IS probably more accurate! But the guys on the Carnival ship next to us are better for it, eh ladies?? :rotfl2:

I wonder if i will get the two bags of candy like i had last year?? Good thing about being a diabetic, I can use all that candy as bargaining chips and not care.

Busy weekend here...cleaned dads gutters (he is afraid of heights, plus he is getting old), and that wasn't meant to be dirty, get your heads out of the gutters...haha. Grilled out a bunch! They make this awesome fajita meat that marinates in miller light, or whatever beer brand you prefer, and then you cook it...so awesome. Came up with a new patrickism. So mike and i were playing pool saturday night, well turns out i kept losing cause i would mess up at the end, i was like dang...pool is like watching a porn, in the end i just end up beating myself...haha. Maybe it was the alcohol but we laughed for like 5 minutes. Other than that not much to report, it was kinda a nice relaxing yet busy weekend.

Oh, went to see star wars....wasn't impressed, but that is just my opinion, and you know what they say....opinions are like buttholes, everyone has one and they all stink.

Now back to reality....thank god for redbull!

Beano,

Thank you for the invite! From the posts that I have read it seems like a hell of a good time! :drinking1 Although my husband isn't much of a partier (sp), maybe if I start working on him now....I'll have him convinced by October. Hopefully, we will be able to find you guys since I am a first time Disney cruisers and it seems that I have alot to learn. You and your DW seem like great people and I can't wait to meet you both! :cool1:

Julie - Please don't let all those posts scare you away! LOL We're really a pretty nice bunch, and you don't have to be a big partier to come to the DIS party. Some of us do enough partying for everyone. Besides, we'll need someone to drive home. Ok, maybe not.

And I can promise you that you'll have NO trouble finding us at the port! :rotfl2:

We tend to attract attention, what with the matching cruise shirts and obnoxious personalities!

I'll give you the link to our pics from last year's cruise - don't say I didn't warn you! :teeth:

Hey Beano,

I looked at your photo album. Nice pictures! My DD and I remembered Micho from dinner. He wasn't our server, but was a server for some other tables around us. He started talking digital cameras with my DH. LOL!

Oh, and are we supposed to bring candy for Halloween?

Sparrow

Pam - No need to bring candy, but thanks for the offer. We'll have more food than we know what to do with! Besides, candy is bad for you.

A couple of cases of beer, some coconut shrimp, cheese and crackers, pasta in alfredo sauce, etc. All that stuff is fine; but candy? Never. :rotfl:

Manufacturers announced today that they will be stocking America's shelves this week with "Clinton Soup," in honor of one of the nations' most distinguished men. It consists primarily of a weenie in hot water.

June 1st: now we're another month closer to our cruise...anyone else counting :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

:Pinkbounc 29 days from today we leave to go to Disneyland!!!! :Pinkbounc

Happy Wednesday to all :sunny:

Ronnie Jo

I am very excited.....I think even more so than my son!!!!!! Since he is only four, he doesn't have the benefit of being able to read all these great posts! The more I read, the more excited I get!

After your husband's invitation to the Halloween party, I'm not sure how much more excitement I will be able to stand. I want it to be October already! The pictures he sent yesterday were great...I can't wait to meet everyone! :grouphug:

Have a great week!

Hello everyone! Sorry I haven't been around much! My BF (best friend) and I just spent the last three days at WDW!!! We had SO much fun! :cheer2:  AND...we went to pleasure island and went to mannequins and the adventurers club which was awesome! We are now in Sarasota and we were going to go to the beach but it is raining and icky here! Oh well! Although, we were waiting on Fantasmic Monday night and it started pouring so we saw the very short rain version. BOO!!! It :guilty: was kind of cool though since I had never seen it! We did Soarin which I loved! :lovestruc Can't wait to go again in October!

How is everyone else doing?

Gina ::MinnieMo

Pam:...me thinks you are thanking us but really wanna be thanking someone on the Disneyland boards :rotfl2: ..or am I confused (entirely possible!!!)

Are you going to be going to Disneyland??

Hugs,

RonnieJo :flower: :mickeybar

Morning everyone ! Happy friday to me !!!
I'm trying to plan our days in Orlando before the cruise  I'm soooo confused. Do we fly in on the 26th and get a room or take the red eye and save the room and car renatl for a night. Stay on property or off rent a car or not ?????????? so many choices. I guess I need to talk to my Big Brother in Tampa and see what he's doing.
Have a great day !

RonnieJo: I was thanking Beano for the info on Halloween. I was looking for DL info for a friend of mine who might be going during November and wanted to see if they were going to do the Haunted Mansion holiday and it's a smal world Christmas. My DH, DD, and I would love to go to Disneyland sometime. I just thought the Haunted Mansion joke was funny and wanted to share it. LOL! You're not totally confused. ;)

Sparrow

Sparrow - Sure she is! :rotfl:

The Haunted Mansion is SO cool during the Christmas season, if they still do it the same way. Last time we were at DL in Dec., they did up HM in 'A Nightmare Before Christmas' theme.
It was way cool.

Luckey - Just to give MHO : We always get to Orlando as early as possible! :)

We always stay on property, as long as we are going to be there for at least a couple of nights. If we get in the night before the cruise, we just stay at the Radisson, but otherwise we stay on property; usually at the Poly. We never rent a car if we are just doing WDW stuff; we just use the buses/monorail. I'm on vacation - let them drive! :teeth: Of course, staying off property is less expensive, but being on property and being surrounded by the Mouse is worth the $$, IMO!

If you don't want to spend the $$ for someplace like the Poly or Contemporary, I highly recommend Caribbean Beach Resort; it's moderately priced and tropically themed!

Ok, Beano will stop rambling like a Disney commercial now.
