Luckey: we don't have "tracks" here in CA (well at least not around here). We have taken our kids out of school every year. Good parents huh?! I believe that cruising is a life experience in itself and our kids teachers have been very nice in accomodating us.

We're also taking our kids out school that week. I agree with you RonnieJo: when they're 30, our kids are not going to remember (or even be making use of) whatever they learned that specific week in school (I hope they're not reading this thread). They will, however, remember the cruise for the rest of their lives. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!!!

Plus, I should add, that we booked this trip while we were still on our cruise last October (that on-board credit you get should last us about 2 hours), and between the hangover from Beano & RonnieJo's party and the fact that we didn't have the school schedule handy, we were hardly making a responsible, informed decision. No matter, what's done is done, and we will be there no matter what!!

Hello everyone! I am still here, I have just been really busy lately moving! Plus, I am getting ready to leave for Florida Saturday and spend my day at DIsney! I am ready! I have been overly stressed lately! But don't worry, I haven't forgotten about my cruise, I am still counting the days! And Beano, I am still counting on my pina colada! LOL!

Thanks for thinking of me RonnieJo! Just busy, busy, busy.

Anybody looked at the photos of the Magic coming through the Panama Canal? I can't bring myself to do it - but I am going to LA either this weekend or early next week and I am already thinking I will be sneaking a day at D-land and very possibly will not be able to contain myself being that close to the Magic. I think I may take the side trip to San Pedro for a looksee.

Aren't our San Diego friends getting ready to sail to Mexico!!!? Lucky Ducks!

Well Beano - it appears our sunshine has finally arrived. Are you ready for the hot!?

My best friend who cruised in January is now scrapping her trip.....it makes October seem very far away......

DD is "graduating" from pre-school tomorrow - should be fun.

Gina: Moving can be exciting but a WHOLE lotta work...good luck and enjoy!

Johanna: congrats on your DD graduation! I cannot begin to tell you how many pre-school diplommas I have calligraphed in the last 5 years!! My old partner still calls me and asks me to do it for her!!

I can't wait! It's getting closer to our trip to DL next month! Hey this year we will be going to Disneyland, WDW and on the Disney Cruise all in one year!!! WOO-HOO!!! Now I just need to figure out how to get to EuroDisney and Tokoyo (someday maybe)

Well i survived the wedding weekend and the groom didn't run. Very busy..rehearsal, golf, wedding, reception, lots of fun though. Did i mention open bar?? Glad to have you back gina.

I will give you all one funny story from the wedding. The dj played the chicken dance...so we were doing the dance and there is a part where you kinda fly around in a circle. Well i decided to be funny and fall down, i was like bird down, bird down...even the dj was laughing his butt off. Seems like i was the entertainment for the group. I can't wait to see the video.

You just need to work on your flexibility ronnie, then beano can just put you in a suitcase and send you...haha.

After talking to Beano, he told me I was missed. I read all 22 pages between my last post and now and I didn't read anyone asking about where I was. Hmmmmm.......

I am back now. Disney cruise #8 (never gona catch Barb and Tony) is quickly approaching. Unbelievable how time flies when you are looking forward to something. I think that I might like to do the Regatta sailing excursion in St. Maarten. Beano, you up for it? It should probably be discussed.

Glad to be back! Nice to see so many people on the cruise.

Nothing exciting to report, this rain is seriously depressing. Man, this american idol is gonna be tough, anyone else watch that show and have an opinion of who is gonna win?? I think bo nailed that last song, the other two were iffy, but carrie only had one song that was spectacular also. But i am gonna have to go with the hot blonde....

No we had no celeb's make it in but I would susupect there was a pretty major after party somewhere. I've never even seen that show and we had the Spurs game on most of the night.

P-Dawg I haven't watched my tape of AI yet but I think Bo is the most consistent of any of them. The loser is propably better off because they can go do what ever they want. Carrie's going to be big on the country charts and that's really where she belongs IMHO. I think she'll end up happier in the long run if she does lose just like Josh what's his name.

Well were starting to cool down it should only be 102 today and then down to the mid - low 90's by the weekend. Well I got to go put a foot behind my DD and get her off to school. Have a great day !!!

We should look at the Regatta. The kids would like it, I think. It is actual work though but it is an experience. The really tough work is done on the winches and they would not have kids do that. Check out the website and see if the kids like the sound of it.
