Hey everyone,

Just checking in. :wave2: I'm actually taking a day off today. :bounce: The girls are starting their Spring Break today, so we need to do something fun, unfortunately we're not getting onboard tomorrow and it's cold and rainy in SW Ohio. :umbrella: We've Tivo'd the Disney Cruise show from the Travel channel so that's on while we have breakfast. After that the girls are all up for clothes shopping. :cheer2: Everyone needs some new threads

This show definitely needs some updating ::MickeyMo. Maybe we can be their next interviewees. :rotfl2:

All the Best,

Charlie

:earseek: Hey, where is everyone?? :earseek:

Guess everybody is off doing something for Easter weekend..
Hope you all get some sun :sunny: for your Easter celebrations!

Hugs,

RonnieJo :flower: :mickeybar

Welcome aboard, Michele !! And welcome to our completely crazy line up!

Caribben Beach was the first Disney resort we stayed at, and we loved it. It's our favorite moderate; but our new favorite Disney Home is The Polynesian. We're staying there again this year before the cruise. Can't wait!

Welcome aboard!

Welcome and can't wait to hear more from you.

Hello All! :wave2:

Just a quick intro, I am Trent, Imaging Dreams DW. We have had so much fun reading the posts and he being the computer wiz, was able to get himself hooked up to post much faster than I. :) You all sound like a wild and fun group with a wealth of info from your experience with DCL. I hope you don't mind if I pick your brains a bit over the next few months. :teeth:

We have two wonderful DD and I heard you can get their hair braided on board the ship. Is this true and if so where and any idea how much?

Also we a bouncing back an forth from booking excursions through DCL or going on our own. :confused3 We would love anyones imput :goodvibes

We are not completly clueless when it comes to cruising however this will be our first Disney Cruise and we can't wait :jumping1:

Thanks soooo much :flower:

RonnieJo :flower: :mickeybar

Trent - Yes, you can get hair braided on the ship, but I definitely recommend waiting until we get to St. Maarten, because it is WAY cheaper there! Probably half the cost. But, if your DD's just can't wait that long, you can get it done on board.

For the same reason, I recommend going on your own rather than doing Disney excursions - price! If you plan on going to St. John (Trunk Bay, Cinnamon Bay, etc.) I can tell you what you need to do to get there, and you'll save some $$.

Since we have a few new families joining this thread lately, let me extend an invitation to all of you to our family's DIS party in our stateroom! Date and time are still pending, but probably on one of the sea days, so as not to conflict with anyone's excursion plans. We'll have lots of food, lots of drinks; so we need lots of peeps! The more the merrier!! :)

Ok, so...

A blonde goes into a police station to apply for a job.

The cops first question is: "What is 2 plus 2"?

She says "4".

He says "Ok, what's the square root of 100"?

She answers "It's 10"

So he says "Very good... So, who killed Abraham Lincoln"?

She says she has no idea.

So, the cop sends her home and tells her to come back when she knows the answer.

At home that night, she calls a friend, who asks, "Did you get the job"?

She says, "Not only did I get the job, but I am already working on a murder case!!'

HAPPY EASTER TO ALL :sunny:

Beano,

Thanks for the info :flower: We are always looking for a great deal. As for the hair it was suggested I might even consider having it done before we leave. I had a feeling it would be pricey :earseek:
As for the excursions we are looking for some prime snorkling and beautiful beaches. Funny you mention Trunk Bay, that was one place that we really thought looked wonderful :Pinkbounc I wish I were there right now :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc
We are looking forward to hooking up on the cruise, thanks for the invite :cool1:

Catch ya latter

Trent - Trunk Bay definitely lives up to it's billing. It is one of the most beautiful snorkeling beaches we've been to. We went there 3 years ago, and (aside from being short on time), we had a great day. But you definitely need to leave the ship as early as possible;it takes longer to get there and back than you think!

But again - if you'd like some help on the best way to get there, let me know and I'll give you my 2 cents worth.
