Read about a new build goin on top of The Stratesphere...called "Insanity". Some kinda g-force spinning ride. Know anything about it? From the description, I don't know anyone in thier right mind that would go on it!!! LOL!! 90 stories up, g-force of 3 and spinning over the Vegas strip....not me man!!!!

Hope you're getting some good tips from them good ole'boys :rolleyes1

Hugs,

RonnieJo :flower: :mickeybar
I've only seen pictures, but basically it's going to swing you out over the edge like a ferris wheel laying on it's side. I assure you a picture is as close as I will ever get to it! I've only been to the top once and the entire time I was thinking where the hell do we go if there's a fire? But I suppose it's not much differn't from the teeter - totter that tips you out over the edge and there's all kinds of crazy people on that thing. Being a child of the 70's I think I watched to many Towering Inferno / Airport movies !!!
Hmmm Sure hope the Magic dosen't capsize ala Possedien Adventure...but what a way to go!

:cheer2: HAPPY WEDNESDAY :cheer2:

just a BUMP to put us back up a ways..... :cool1:

Hugs,

RonnieJo :flower: :mickeybar

Well it definitely feels like a hump day too, things are kinda slow at the moment. Put my baby in for an oil change and to have a tire plugged. Maybe they will give it a bath too....i could only hope, blue is a bad color for the winter salt. Anything new going on?? Nothing too exciting going on here, ready for a vacation...all those in favor say I...haha. Well back to earning the big bucks

patrick  :smooth:

You know, one of the great things about a cruise - it doesn't matter if it's summer vacation, Easter break, etc. etc. No matter how crowded most places are, the ship can only hold so many people! So you can really go whenever you want to. Most of the time we've cruised, the ship has been near capacity, and it was no prob.

Can you tell I am starting to think about our trip to Disneyland in June ? :rotfl2:

Ok, sure, it's gonna be PACKED. But what a great celebration; and besides, it's a vacation with my main man Tim! We'll have a ball, no matter what. So we have to wait in line for seven and a half hours to ride Pirates of the Caribbean ... pirate:

Chris and Cheri - where are you guys?? Neither of you have posted in a while. All is well in beautiful southern Cal, I hope!!

'Beano'

Just checking back in... been real busy with work, working on my taxes , and checking the boards for any info on the AP rates for June :rolleyes1 We are headed for the Beach Club on June 11th and would have a more magical vacation with a better rate.

Anyhow, Thanks for the great welcome! :grouphug:

I told my DD'S about the other girls that will be on board, and they are very excited. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

We are true Disney Nuts, and have gone to Disney World 2 times a year for last 5 years, but this is our first cruise. I've read a lot, but still not sure what to expect. Have any of you been on a cruise during a holiday? What can I expect on Halloween? Will they host a costume party and hand out treats for the kids? At first my DD's didn't want to go on the 29th, because they would miss out on "Trick-or-Treating", but then I promised :guilty: them that Disney would do something special. I sure hope they do.

Hey all, just checking in myself.

Maykayla's Mom - That's a beautiful name. I think our DD would have had that name had she born a couple years later, as my wife was a huge Dr. Quinn fan!! (Although I believe it was spelled Michaela.) :)

Pdawg - Wazzzuuuup??!!?

Now that you're pulling down the big bucks, the poolside drinks are on you this year, big boy! ::yes::

I just pulled off another sheet from my desk calendar, but it said March... how come not October? I don't get it.

'Beano'

Where is the fast forward button through life?? We could just skip these next few months, i got a tip that nothing is going on anyways, a few rain showers, some freak thunderstorms, osama will be found, thats about it, so why not fast forward to october??

I have been saving up some money, so a few rounds will be on me. I already printed out the excursions for this cruise, kinda in that mode too with beano.

Woo hoo, the guy from manassas VA, where i am from, is still on american idol...go manassas, its our birthday.... Well back to the grind...come on winning lottery #'s!!

ok, this is kinda redneck humor, since is rednecks love baseball and nascar

why is it shorter from 2nd to 3rd than it is from home to 1st, 1st to 2nd, or 3rd to home??

Cause there is a short stop....ok, kinda cheesy, my lil sis told that one to me.

Have been reading a bunch of deeds all day so my brain is fried, maybe it will be better on frieday. Have a good one

Hey Guys,

I'm here Beano....just been busy tryin' to earn a living. "Here" this week is New York, where it's flippin' freezing. How do you cold-weather people put up with this for a whole winter?? :cold: :cold: :cold: In California, we complained about two weeks of rain (which is bad for us), but it soon returns back to 65 degrees and sunny.

Oh, well. I'm gonna play golf at La Costa this weekend and find out what Tiger was complaining about.

Chris

Chris, have fun playing La Costa.

The weather down here has not been too great today. Rain today and tomorrow in the forecast but it will still be in the 60s so I can take it.

I think that a trip to Vegas might have to split the difference between the trip to Disneyland and the cruise. I should have enough money by then.

:umbrella: :umbrella: :umbrella: man am I sick of the rain!!!!!!!! Wishing for some sunshine and warm weather :sunny:

HAPPY FRIDAY TO ALL!

So, what is everyone doing this weekend?? big plans anyone?

Hugs,

RonnieJo :flower: :mickeybar

Lets see, my friend robin kinda talked me into going to this lock and key party in dc tonight, i guess the guys get a lock and the ladies get a key and you try to match, then when you get a match you get a raffle ticket to win prizes...should be pretty interesting. Yesterday was dana's birthday so we are taking her out tomorrow night for dinner, and sunday my friend laura will be in town so we are taking her out for her birthday. Sounds like a partying weekend to me!

TGIF!! This has been a week! Is it 3:30 yet??

p-dawgy

Hi kids checking in and bumping up.
Just another Friday and saturday at the skating rink for me. And then back to work on Sunday :guilty: .

Just work for me this weekend too, if anybody checks out, that is. :faint:

Otherwise I guess I'll sit home and watch it rain. :umbrella:

Hey luckey - do they have any 1 or 2 deck BJ tables at the Luxor, or are they all 6 deck shoes? Do they have Pai Gow tables too? I am so ready for a trip out there - I need the money! :rotfl2:

'Beano'

Hey all! :wave2:

Big weekend plans: Watching it rain :umbrella: No golf again.....

DD has a birthday party Saturday
DH has poker night Saturday night
DH has softball Sunday night
And I get to finish the tax reports to send to the CPA - YIPPEE

Hey- wait a minute, how come DH is having more fun than me!? :confused3

Hey Luckey- whatcha doin' at the skating rink? Its not that hot in Vegas yet... Do you have a skating princess?

I feel a girl scout cookie attack coming on.... :sad2:

Have a great weekend!!

Is everyone going away? I know that Pdawg and Beano won't leave me hangin. I will be here all weekend unless some hot chick comes to get me out of my office.

I'm here, too. This darn life keeps getting in the way of my posting fun! pirate: (pdawg, say Happy Birthday to Dana for me. I lost her email address as soon as she sent it to me. :sad2: )

I've discovered that with enough chardonnay and thin mints while sitting by the pool, I can almost imagine being on the Magic. I'm ready  I'm ready  I'm ready

readneck word #1: Yontu
Ronnie Jo, I was thinkin' about shoppin' in Mexico. Yontu?

 CHERI:

Thin mints by the pool...sounds like it must be Girl Scout time again

I love chocolate :mickeybar , pass the mickey bars please!

Hugs,

RonnieJo :flower: :mickeybar

Tinkryansmom: Yes I have an Ice Princess princess:
Fridays and Saturdays are her private lessons with her coach Vasilli.
She moved up a level ,well actually three levels since the last time she competed (July of 2004) , and it's time for new programs for this years competition season. We were at the rink 31/2 hours today but tomorrow we'll probably only be there an hour.
By the way the rain is back in Vegas too.
Beano I'm not sure about the one or two deck tables but I'm pretty sure there is Pai Gow. Beleive it or not I don't make it to the casino level very much. La Salsa is on the attraction level next to the arcade so I go from the parking lot straight to work and straight home other wise the last six hours $$$ would be handed back to the Luxor. But we don't mind if you want to come and contribute to our salaries !!!!
