glad you had a good time
But how good was it? :smooth: Any good blackmail material? Were you a bad girl?

i was dancin my a&& off...woohoo!! i had a blast!!! They will be in Chula Vista at the end of the month....thata would be an incentive to fly!!!

Oh what fun (and I'm giving away my age again) but we went to see Poison/Cinderella last night at VA Beach (and spent the night) for their 20 year anniversary tour.
Hmmmmm....saw Cinderella the first time they toured and saw Poison twice in concert, so now three times.
They were both good, but Poison was really great! Brett Michaels sounded wonderful and they had so much fun on stage. We had incredible seats, but now it's back to work for me.

Because we went to the concert and stayed at this horrid hotel (outrageously expensive and a real trash heap--with NO INTERNET either!) I missed out on getting to book Palo for my cruise in November. I was planning on getting it booked for our anniversary (we are celebrating 17 years while on the ship.) I had to wait until I could connect to the internet this morning (instead of the insane 3:00 a.m. that the completely obsessed do) ;) :badpc: so by connecting 6 hours later there were no Palo brunch reservations available, and no dinner reservations on our anniversary :( Okay, I'm wallowing in my own pitty here, but I really was hoping on making this a special anniversary, especially since we are cruising without the kids.

Oh well...

So how the heck are the rest of you all?
Sue Ellen

:scared1: What is this you say SueEllen?! No Palo brunch or dinner??? That'll never do....get ressies you must :yoda:

Oh, and by the way:

I have missed you!

wow..i guess i was lucky..i didn't log in till late and got everything...i think i am on a cruise with a bunch of newbies and people who hadn't paid in full by the 90 day mark

psst...Beanzie...check out my countdown timer!

Rj - well...it was as we thought..so I guess I need to find out what's going on

still feel punky

how was the appointment?

Wow... slow day. :hourglass

What's the matter people? :confused3

It was ok; I won't get to see the Dr. for 10 days to review specific results.
They just did the echo today. All I know so far is it's prolly MVP, and I have left ventricular concentric hypertrophy. Fun huh? :bitelip:

I'm sorry...

I will try to up-hold my "tag" with more gusto :lmao:

Boring as it may be:

I spent the day cleaning house and doing :laundy: then went with Beano :drive: to doctor appointment. We had some dinner and now will prolly :happytv:

Pretty exciting huh? :rotfl2:

ps. I forgot I also :yay:

while I could pick apart the diagnosis (and probably conclude that you have a sprained taste bud), why don't you give us the cliff notes. Concentric hypertrophy means...

and HOW COME IT'S GONNA TAKE 10 FREAKIN' DAYS TO GET RESULTS?????? :sad2: What? Has he got a golf game in Ecuador? pirate:

A golf game in Ecuador - now that's funny right there!

Concentric hypertrophy means my left ventrical is slightly enlarged. Not a big problem but it is a precursor to more serious things if left untreated. So I'm thinking... treat it. ::yes::

MVP is Mitral Valve Prolapse. Also not considered serious but the symptoms are a royal pain in the... chest. And, like ventricular arryhthmia, non-ablatable! Yippie for me! :teeth:

Aren't ya glad you asked? :sad2:

Get that taken care of my left coast buddy. Don't play around--but it sounds like you discovered this early, which is a good thing. Treatment options are good the earlier you are diagnosed. PROTECT THAT TICKER!

Now about those darn Palo reservations, I was a bit miffed, but hey, that'll teach me to stay at a roach motel with no internet. I would have been one of the crazies up at 3:00 a.m. to book (well if I was coherent--we did just see a concert and I can't remember how many margaritas I had afterward!)
I think I'll be able to arrange something once we board since they hold some of these back. Guess we'll be heading to the port a little earlier than I had planned (I was going to visit MGM for a little bit of Super Soap Weekend that morning, but I guess that's been nixed now) SIGH I'm convinced that pirate: 's were involved with this.

:grouphug: to all of my cruise buddies. We miss you guys (and Steve said to make sure to say  for him as well.)

Not butt-crack of dawn but close! ;) :lmao:

Bob has to be up early this morning to go pick up school schedule. He also has band camp all this week (one time at band camp... :lmao: ) No! It's not that type :rotfl2:

Whatever you say lady... "It's not that kind of band camp." Yeah right...

:lmao:

No, really it's not. It's run by the HS Music Teacher...they learn their field show patterns and their music score for this year. This years music is from Chronicles of Narnia :thumbsup2
