Anniversary Trouble:


Ed was in trouble. He forgot his wedding anniversary. His wife was really mad.
She told him "Tomorrow morning, I expect to find a gift in that driveway that
goes from 0 to 200 in 6 seconds AND IT BETTER BE THERE".

The next morning Ed got up early and left for work. When his wife woke up, she
looked out the window and sure enough there was a small box gift-wrapped in the
middle of the driveway.

Confused, the wife put on her robe and ran out to the driveway, brought the box
back in the house. She opened it and found a brand new bathroom scale.


Funeral services for Ed have been scheduled for Friday.

Our anniversary was yesterday ! 15 years !!! Edd didn't forget.

Well I faxed my letter to them Poly peeps, so let's see if they come through for us. They better, or I might have to stomp my feet and hold my breath!

Today, we're off to the kennel with the kids; uh, I mean, the pets. Then we can get the suitcases out and get packed. (RJ's dog flips out if she sees the suitcases so we'll wait until she's gone.)

Then we were thinking about going to DisneyWorld.

Hey all! Good morning!!

We are heading to the ranch this morning. Neil, his Dad, cousin, cousins wife and two sons & our nephew are heading out for the annual pack trip tomorrow. You now, hike 7 or so miles up into the John Muir wilderness. You carry your own backpack and the mules carry the food. No tents, showers, etc. Mosquitoes, snow, fishing, sleeping bags, camp fire that sort of thing.

Yep, I have graciously declined to attend this year.

So...you all have a safe travel day.

Tenny, I hope your ear is OK on the plane. Take a good decongestant.

And this is some lake up high in the Sierra. Lady Lake maybe. Lady Bug Lake. Stadiford Lake.

I know you can see the back side of Mammoth Mtn from where we were. It was fun but since I have outfished everyone two years straight I am sitting this trip out.

Pretty good trout fishing there, as I recall. We spent the day there a few years ago while camping at Vandeberg Lake.

it's and should be doin' other fun stuff like mopping the kitchen floor
but it's too dang hot and humid <wine wine wine ... I mean whine, whine, whine.. Ther goes another fruitian slip>

Last night the 'fridge decides to let water come out - not the water spout in front, but the bottom where I'm pretty sure water is not supposed to come out. It stopped now. So, the question is: let it be or risk coming home to an indoor pool? Thoughts?

We got some of that stuff goin' on around here, too. Not to mention suitcases all over the house, packing, folding, folding and packing, shoving clothes into ziploc bags and vacuuming the air out, etc.

Then, tomorrow morning, we to L.A.

Vacation will have officially started.

Ok, it's only L.A., but I'm not at work so it counts as vacation! Work with me here people!!

Cheri, if you aren't busy, why don't you and Chris bring the kids over to the Poly and hang out with us? You can drink Pina Coladas with RJ out of little tikiman glasses!
