I took DS to the fireworks booth and he bought MORE fireworks! He had some from last year and then purchased more. We counted and we have 29 fountains, 36 ground blooms, numerous smoke bombs and a box full of various other things.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!!!

We saw amazing fireworks last night at La Costa. Sat on lounge chairs over looking the pool and they shot the fireworks over the golf course to good patriotic music. It was awesome

Don't eat too much today, ... awwww, who am I kidding? Eat lot's. Drink ... well the hangover is up to you. - but like Ronnie said, take care of those fingers! Fireworks have been against the law here for many years. Somehow I still hear all this whistling and popping goin on ... hmm ...

Missed it. Bummer! I'm not even telling Timmy. What time did it get off? (don't even GO there Beano!) Did anything fall off?

Supposedly tonight after fireworks, about 9:15 or so, the Space Station is going to pass over head. "It will look like a star, but you will be able to tell the difference." that from the news.

Well we went to see Cars and it was really cute ! I wasn't that interested in seeing it but I enjoyed it.

Yes we have lovely year round school for most public K - 5 schools. Cassie is lucky enough to be on track 5 which is the first to get out of the 2005 - 2006 school year. My baby will be graduating from third grade on July 13th. Then she will be starting 4 th grade on August 30th. The rest of the tracks finish the year on August 11th and start the "new" year on August 30th, except for track 1 which starts the year around September 20th. When they come back Track 2 goes on its first break for 3 weaks, then they come back and track 3 goes Etc. Etc.

That sounds very confusing...does it mean she will graduate sooner???...or is it just a school year round program???

Will prolly take SL to see Cars when we get back.

Speaking of getting back....Goodbye everyone for a few days. Leaving bright and early in the a.m. for a looonnnngg drive to Arkansas. Guess I won't even bring the computer since we won't get a signal - although I do have some computer games on it, diner dash, diner dash, diner dash....and can use it for video's,on the other hand, I should take advantage of the atmosphere and live without it for a few days. This place is definately a place where you can rejuvinate your mind and spirit and forget about the every day things for awhile. No cooking, no cleaning, no laundry...replace that with playing in the lake, horseback rides, campfires....YEAH!! They have paintball too, but I've never played that before, not sure I'd be any good at it - would prolly end up shooting myself...

Weather here rainy, and lightening. I think almost all the firework displays have been cancelled.

Well...we shot off our load.....of fireworks.

The Village of Royal Palm shot off theirs about a mile from the house and we sat in our bedroom upstairs and watched with the reflections on the lake. I sang "Wishes" in my head. Can't wait till 23 days from now...I can see it again!!
Someone remind me to buy the CD of Wishes too....that is, if I ever find the "Mr Toad's Wild Hotel" you are staying in!

Fireworks...let me see. Banned here in Tracy. Central Valley. Very hot and dry. No open flames allowed. Bad. That said I have never seen so many fireworks in one place. OK 'cept Disneyland. The police made one futile "we are really working tonight" pass through the neighborhood. Quite impressive.

Hey Creightons you ever gonna come up to the cabin or what!? We waited and waited for you guys this weekend. And...um...NOTHING.

OK so we did not wait. We slid down the rocks into the swimming hole, threw rocks in the creek, played gin, Neil even go to fell a big huge tree. I'll post pictures later. Really, I will. No, really.
