Shutters will be closed tomorrow..since they are accordian, they are easy to close..
Let's just hope Rick gets released tomorrow...i hate when he works!

Not for all the windows.

Looks like we're going to be in the right front quadrant. Supposedly it's going to be mostly rain. We have gas for the generator and all just to be sure. Have water stockpiled, plenty of batteries, flashlights, emergency radio, first aid kit, etc, etc.

Gas stations were crazy today (1+ hour lines). Home Depot even ran out of propane tanks. Fun stuff, yeah?

Actually just stopped in to send prayers and pixie dust to Betsy, Anne, Tim and Sarah and anyone else I missed, I just saw the track Ernesto is taking. Let just hope it stays away from hurricane status. Please stay safe.

Supposedly the rain and wind (by wind, I mean "above 20 mph") are supposed to start this afternoon. Betsy's right about Wednesday morning though. That'll be the worst time, evidently. We'll be on the right side of the storm. They're saying rainfall could reach 15 inches in places on that side of the storm. Of course, that means we have a flood watch too. And they're still saying it could become a hurricane before it arrives.

Btw... if you'd like to know why people are wigging out about a TS... it's because if anything at all gets damaged we're all going to be without power and have our insurance go up.
