Yeah, didn't we tell you? We have 2 royal suites at the Grand Californian for a full week! We're having breakfast in the castle; taking a private, guided tour behind the scenes in Disneyland; dinner reservations at Club 33... even a private photo session with Roy Disney!

The works!!!

I am back!! Y'all have been quiet - you must have missed me!

Add me to the OMG only 20 days left crowd. We just decided no more trips between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Too hectic.

And whoever said they are no snakes at WDW is a LIAR!!

ok....THIS brought me to tears this morning!!!!

Disney's Caring: Meeting Mickey

While visiting the Animal Kingdom three years ago, we were stopped by a Disney Rep right as we were at the front of the line to see Mickey. I didn't understand why they had stopped us and was a little disappointed that I would have to wait. My disappointment soon changed to an overwhelming sense of gratitude to Disney and its caring staff. Coming up the walkway was a special needs child. She didn't look different, but I knew something was unusual.

The Disney staff person whispered to Mickey and Mickey reached for the child's hand and knelt down. Then Mickey proceeded to guide the child's hands over his entire face. I then realized that this special child was blind. It almost brought me to tears. I was so touched by this Disney moment which I will never forget. Thank you, Disney, for being so caring.

My mother is leaving next week to spend christmas with my evil sister...i don't know WHO gave her permission to leave me for Thanksgiving AND christmas..but she is getting coal for christmas!

she does have instructions to negotiate the turn over of a certain "girl" early in June so that this "girl" can go to WDW with her Aunt Matchmaker!!
