yes, Sarah has the smallest feet I've ever seen on a woman. What're they 4's? BTW, I found Cassie a pair of those supepr cool pink Sketchers like the one's you bought Ryan, TRM. I've just forgotten to give them to her. she had a nice birthday. Thanks for the birthday wishes. (She'll email Kate back after the weekend. Full social calendar, you know )

oph- so glad to hear your grandma is doing well. She sounds super cool. (Is she the one that calls you 'Say-ruh'?) It takes guts to eventhink about shaving your head. Wow.

the kids are both gone tonight. So ... if I have a margarita (cinco de mayo, afterall) tonight and no one is around to see ... do the calories still count?

Beano is up EARLY this morning!!

I am always up around 6AM on Saturdays. Besides, we have a busy day today. Tuesday is DS birthday, so we're celebrating today since I no gots to work. We'll go out to eat at his choice of restaurants (He says Logan's Roadhouse), and we have a couple hundred other errands to do.

RJ and I have been working on a zillion different projects around the house, too. We still have lots to do. The roofers were nice enough to come and tear up my roof on thursday, only to cancel on me friday; so now I get to look at a gaping hole in the roof until next week. Yesterday I stained the fence, cleaned out the shed, and took a couple of truckloads of junk to the dump. Last weekend we painted the garage. In the coming weeks, our carpenter, electrician, and painter will be here to finish things up. Then it's new carpet, and a new countertop on the bar. (Cha-ching!!)

But on to more important things - Did you say something about beer being on sale?

Wouldn't it have been easier to call Ty and the Extreme House Makeover team!? But, really, you gotta love a good house project!!

Excitement for the day in Tracy, you ask? Ah, well, its off to the cat vaccination clinic soon. Cat #2 needs series #4 and Cat #3 needs series #1. Never a dull moment here. Good thing the vet is in the same shopping center as the dry cleaners and Starbucks. 3 in 1 errand running. I love that!!

Watched my first grown-up movie in ages - "Must Love Dogs" on On Demand (supposedly you can stop and start from the cable box but I was too chicken to try it for fear I'd lose my $3.95). Cute movie, but you knew John Cusak would end up with Diane Lane. It was soooo nice to see an actress (when did they become "actors"?) over forty with tiny wrinkles! Not much make up and she still looked beautiful.
