As far as the Christmas eats go:

We have never been of the "traditional" sort...

what about homemade mexican food...like enchiladas, tacos, corn cake etc. (I know you a good margie)
or

italian...spaghetti, garlic cheese bread, salad etc (good bottle or 2 of vino)

We have done both of these....don't know what your family likes. Just an idea

Whatever you decide, I'm sure it'll be good..................

Cheri how about a Roast Loin of pork if you really want to be fancy you can do a crown roast.

We usually have Prime Rib on Christmas Eve too and then do a brunch for Christmas day. I have a couple of good make -a -head breakfast casserole recipes, one is french toast the other is eggs, hash browns,cheese and sausage. Make them Christmas eve and pop them in the oven Christmas day. We usally have a ham ( cause I like the left overs) hash browns, bagels, fruit , salads (green and jello)
lots of cookies from the cookie exchange and what ever desserts that are left over from the night before. It's sort of a pot luck also so I don't have to do it all.
By the time Christmas night rolls around we're all to stuffed and to tired for dinner.

Haven't been here for awhile and there is no way to catch up on all the posts.

Everyone else going through Cruise withdrawl!!!!!!! Can't wait to go again.

My friend that lives in Cocoa Beach just flew to MN to get her baby!! She has been trying to adopt for sometime and she got word last night that the baby was born...she is at the hospital waiting to see the baby...could everyone just have a happy thought for T, B and Baby J and that it all goew smoothly!!

Well if that be the case I think we Californians ( and don't say I'm not one ) should get a price break on the Mexican cruise. Can I get an Amen from the my Cali brothers and sisters !

Well, Luckey, I can tell you from personal experience (being a Californian and having been on the Mexican cruise) that there are no discounts to be had there!!! As a matter of fact, we paid far more for our Cat 3 to Mexico than we did for the Halloween cruise. The prices for the West Coast cruises were off the charts!!! The only cost "break" we got was the fact that we didn't have to book flights to get to the port. But even there, we usually use frequent flyer miles to book vacation flights anyway.

Go figure.

Got that right, Chris. Best verandah on the ship. We loved it! Most of our DIS party took place out there when we had that suite. I like the inside of 8532 much better, but the 8102 verandah rocks!!

But I'll stick with Walt or Roy's room, given the choice.
