Tim - you can come to Royal Palm...we can have a DIS party early!! I am not in a flood zone and right near Wellington Green

This really messes up my plans this weekend..I was going to buy all my last minute stuff...guess I better do it Friday at noon when I get off! YIKES!

They tell us that the children and amoebas are on their own...that the monkeys have now declared that it is Caribbean of the Apes, and TZM© is king and the poor cows have been resigned to look for food in South America

I'm tellin ya...this storm is EXPLODING! (that is what the paper here calls it)
You should hear the newscasters here..when Katrina moved south to Miami, it was almost like the Palm Beach guys were going to cry...they LIVE to scare the pee pee out of you..."It could turn it's fury on us at any moment...yes, it passed by us, but you never know..it could come back!"

As we speak, I am doing some of my DD's homework for her. It's not as bad as it sounds.....she has a home ec. class and the teacher gave her a baking assignment. I think that math, english and science should come first before making sure you know how to make a danish

My DD will look so cute holding the danishes she ( ) made for her teacher! Shhhh, no telling!

(besides it was only a Bisquick recipe)

My mother was horrified when I came home from home ec one day and told her we made Cinn buns...I told her "first, you open the package of Pillsbury Biscuits....."

To be fair..you can't make buns from scratch in 40 minutes...at least we got to eat them...

I too have been watching the weather websites and found one for Canadian hurricanes.....um....um...Kim? Are those the most bored webmasters on the planet or what? Don't think I have ever heard of a Canadian Hurricane??

Man can my DD cook! They are looking pretty. Guess thats all that matters. Now we just have to take a picture of them and write a paragraph telling about how they tasted etc.

The last hurricane that hit Ontario was Hurricane Hazel and I think that was the 1950's or 60's. The east coat of Canada gets alot of the after effects so just the tropical storm stuff......

I am hoping this thing stays away from Florida...hope you will all be safe down there.
