Hi Beano

Here is a question that you might know. Since so many people seem to be getting these free upgrades to free up cat. 12's, does that mean that we are less likely to get an upgrade at the port for a discounted price, because they have been given away?????

Absolutely nothing at stake, but going to Rangers game tomm. for the after game fireworks for the Pook, since someone gave us some free tickets.

Johnna - I am sure they only let you use the snorkeling gear during the stingray thing; not all day. And I always take my own gear... cuz their's sucks. I don't want to use a snorkel that some dude with bad teeth and a lip fungus used before me!

Hey Tink: ooopsie, sorry, don't want to dash your hopes, just wanted to know if we should try to upgrade, or should we keep it the way it is with Judit right next door??? Would love upgrade, but don't like the idea of dashing back and forth if we need her quickly. Course....could call her on phone and make HER do all the dashing........ what a meanie I can be. Yes, after much moaning, groaning and tears and tantrums, I got it and put it in the closet. She pretty much had meltdown and had to go into time out until she could quit carrying on. Much screamage....

Hi Everybody,

I am cruising on the October 29th sailing. I am here everyday and check out what's new... I don't post very much ( I must be the strong, silent type... !) Trish gave me great info on the the trick or treating and was a big help with lots of info. (Thanks!)

We booked a cat. 12 room and saw everyone was getting room numbers so I went to take a look and we were upgraded to a Cat. 9 room... we have a window!

We are also going to MNSSHP and hope to have a great time.

OK Beano, here's another one. Since we are staying at the Swan for 2 days before, instead of the Radi for one day before.....should we try to get one of them thar meal plans?? Or is it just quicker, easier, and less expensive just to wing it??? Food seemed to just be so expensive when we were there in May (my first trip EVER).

I don't recommend a meal plan for just 2 days... just wing it! Tell me what kind of food y'all want and I can recommend a few places... better yet, I'll get tarzanman Tim to make some recommendations ; he's definitely eaten at more WDW restaurants than I. But we've both been to bunches of 'em.

OHH , those offerings are CUTE that DCL offers for halloween IS anyone else bringing DECORATIONS for the INSIDE of their CABIN? GOSH we already have SOO MUCH to bring BUT fall/HALLOWEEN is my FAVORITE time of year, I AM BUMMED we wont be around here for T or T and our cabin wont look like halloween ( My anniv is OCT 25 and bady the 29th so OCT is my fav LOL) ...We are going to do a GIFT basket for each child so that when we get to our room they will be there..I am calling Monday to order them with sand toys, a mug for each child to refill with drinks and a few other cute things from SHIRLEY here:

Okay Beano, thanks for offer of the help, and I REALLY apologize in advance for just boring the crud out of everyone else.....Well, hubby is a Brit, so he is a meat and potatoes kind of a guy. Loves steak for dinner. Also loves pork and lamb (poor lambie pambie) will of course also eat chicken. Has some kind of blood sugar thingie going on, so let him get toooo hungry and GRUMP GRUMP GRUMP!! Have learned the hard way to "feed the daddy" when he is hungry. But, to his credit, once we discovered this cause of much consternation early on in our relationship, (been married 9 years btw), he does warn me now.... I am much less pickier than he is, and although it will be hard, I AM going to try and be good those last two days on my diet, (thanks to SouthBeach and treadmill, down 10 pounds so far since SC) so that I can overindulge just that little bit more on the ship!!! So for me a healthier fare please. And da Pook, well she is 5, and she will eat WHAT WE TELL HER TOO!!!! No, just kidding...ever tried to force your kids to eat what they don't want to???? She likes pizza, chicken nuggets, broccoli, mac and cheese, cheeseburgers, fish sticks, chicken noodle soup, pretty much all the kiddie foods that you would think of. And if she could get away with candy for all three meals.....
So hopefully that is enough info to give us a few tips....really had some troubles in May over food situations, because he would get hungry and every restaurant in site had no ressies available.

So boys and girls, what have we learned today?????

Rachel, you are soooo right, the kids will love it. The stuff I ordered came with a note too, so I could tell her I loved her in it. You know what else I did besides the gift for her when we walked into the room before??? I ordered some of that non-alcoholic bubbly (aka grape juice ) so we could have a toast, or as she calls it a "cheer" before we left. She always sees us doing it at dinner, and she loved having her own "big people drink" in a fancy bottle.

OMG, I know you people are just gonna hunt me down in the parking lot at the port and beat the crud out of me for all these posts, BUT......they have a new September, Eastern Navigator posted on ***(removed--that is part of the word filter and is not allowed to be posted. Thanks for understanding)*** Can't wait to look at it, and I know Betsy and some others wanted to see a newer one too!!!!! YIPPPPEEEEEE, the anal overplanner in me is just doing the jiggie!!!!

Hey monkey! I don't think it is worth the hassle to drag all your snorkel stuff if you have to pack another suitcase to do it. Just bring your mask and snorkel. I just brought my mask last year and that worked out fine. You just don't need to tote around your fins. IMHO.

I forgot to mention something for those of us without a verandah room. I always bring a mini fan for my room to help move the air around. The A/C works fine but the air kinda sits. I like the fan and the noise that it makes. Just another happy suggestion.

BUTCH! I can't believe you are back! That rocks!

Eating at WDW right before the cruise should be done at the Food and Wine Festival at EPCOT or at Le Cellier in Canada, in EPCOT. Liberty Tree is great for dinner for another meet and potatoes adventure, in the Magic Kingdom.

Wow...you have all been busy today

Finally caught up on all the posts since my 3-week hiatus...I've missed you all so much

I have been showing DS (4) pics of the airplane, limo and ship almost everyday now. He still can't believe that the "big boat" is bigger than his school . He'll probably fall over when he finally sees it in person

I think I have become Ebay's most frequent shopper over the past couple of months Today I won a bid on a suit for DS for semi-formal night...$5.00

Rachel...we are also in a Cat. 4...8518; and if I'm not mistaken, we have little ones the same age. We can send them off to the OC while we have some drinks

Anyone have big plans this weekend? I'm working, and then working, and then, oh yeah, working some more! Gotta get in that overtime so I can go bling-bling shopping with you all The best part of this weekend is that I don't have to watch the Packers get whooped...that can wait 'til Monday night Maybe we'll win at least one game this season...

I don't think there are going to be any port upgrades. The ship is very full now, and currently the only quad cabins are cat 5 & 4 and there are very few 9's & 8's left also.
