I redialed for 30 minutes. Then someone just answered (no menu options). She immediately transferred me to a CM to take my dining reservations. Weird. No wait, got all my reservations (2/12-2/17). Strange.

this is no different that trying get concert tickets or sporting event tickets and can't get through.
no matter what technology is out there, it would never be enough to hand the volume of people. it comes down to sheer chance.

Yes, good points, but someone mentioned before American Idol. And I personally have experience with airline reservations systems (SABRE, specifically, so yes, my experience is a few decades old, but still...) So it can be done.... but these solutions are incredibly expensive. Imagine, for a minute, if each of us trying to get reservations this morning all had to pay a proportional share of the cost of putting these types of technology in place for this week (because heck they probably won't need it next week). We're talking each one of us paying big money, and for what? for the privilege of having the error message, "That restaurant is no longer available because other guests have already booked it faster than you did," instead of the message, "Sorry, the booking system is currently unavailable." Hardly seems worth it.

Finally got my reservations on hold for 35 minutes even though they said less than 8!!
Lots of restaurants aren't loaded into the system yet.
I wasn't able to get Tutto Italia (not loaded) but got Le Cellier which is funny because this is the first time I didn't want Le Cellier and wanted Tutto Italia. I guess I will call another day and see about Tutto.

Got thru after a couple of circuits are busy and was on hold for 20min even though it said wait time was 2 min. Got everything I wanted with no problem so pretty happy but we did not choose anything that is too hard but Crystal Palace and got that at 9:05 on 5/1. It is had for us to do a 8:05 reservations. We even cnacelled a Chef Mickey at 7:30am last time because there was no way we were getting up...

We just loved Mickey's Backyard BBQ in May and it was my husbands on request to do again. Got to have lobster at Narcoossees.
