We tried the ariel trek and cave tubing in Belize on our November cruise, but unfortunatley the caves waters were too high. So we were only able to do the ariel trek portion. It was one of the main reason for choosing that ship and itinerary so we could do Belize. It was an amazingly long ride to the caves and along the way the bus driver would make these ubrupt stops to point out alligators , but you would have thought not one person on that bus has never seen an alligator before. I literally have a scar on my head from bumping into the seat in front of me or when I hit my head on the metal polls to jump up when he first yelled out LOOK EVERYONE, holy crap I thought it was going to be something big the way he yelled and slammed on the brakes, NO just a damn alligator!:rotfl: For the Northerners who have never had one this may be great but for me it was like he was yelling " Look Cat ":rotfl2:

HMMM, maybe I should do a cruise to Hawaii and save the tubing for the rivers around here! We'd for sure see plenty of alligators in the tubing rivers in south Mississippi! I know this from experience! Also snakes like to hang from the tree limbs and freak you out when you are going over the rapids and have ZERO control over your tube!pirate:

Did you see the Fat fella just walking along the street holding the hands of them two kids who were blowing about in the wind?,that was me and the twins we'd gone out for milk.....:rotfl:

Didn't see any fellas, kids, and milk...but did see video of a plane (taking off, I think), that was angled about 30 degrees off the center line of the runway. Bet that was a fun flight, "Mommy, why are we turning around?" :rotfl: :scared1:

:rotfl2: Reminds me once of when we were coming into ibiza and the turbulence was the worse I've ever known, you could hear a pin drop and when we hit an air pocket and fell a couple of hundred feet (felt like a 1000) one women screamed "%^&*" and the whole plane started laughing ...:rotfl2:

Hi Paula , I tried to lighteen up the pictures but they came out a wee bit grainy.
The water was a beautiful mud pie color.

How old are you looking for , My mom says sometimes she wishes she was single if only for a moment :confused3
Really at least in their 40's. I am 66 but both look and act as if I were much younger. This may give some background.

WOW i remember seeing your post one day on here and thinking what lovely people, now I'll get the chance to buy you a beer OR three....Take everyday as it comes and enjoy them..

ps...The big C can't take-away all your great memories either fella...:)

I am so sorry :sad1: . Sounds like you need someone that is as much a Disney fan as your wife was, I sure hope you find her. Maybe we can play cupid for you on the ship  :love1: how about 2? HEHE JK!

This is our weather right now. I just got back a bit ago and cried all the way home. It was terrible. Yes I am from the snow belt capital of the world and yes I cry driving. It started last year after I just had to have the souped up Impala LX , this thing is so damn low that if you hit a small snow rut you are going sideways. 5 miles and hour last year and I'm going sideways on the highway and others are passsing me going 50 in with their SUVS , which we also have but I have to be cool ya know . No more, I am tried of driving and crying plus I already couldn't see so with the tears it looked like a white out :rotfl2: This year I'm buying a Subura or Santa FE . Yup I'm too old to be cool now anyways.

Smokey is in the distance, he apparently doesn't like his stall.

We will be cruising on the October 27 with the Magic. We are ecstatic.. This is my life long dream I just turned 30 AND we were wanting to get married on the ship but it is so much money so we will just do so before hand and that will be our honey moon. We are taking two girls 6 and 4. We want to do some things in Florida for a bit first... we are thinking three days...and not alot of expensive things...

I went back and read some people started planning this in March of last year...and kidlets... YOU rock...your patience is absolutely stellar!

I thought I was bad.. I think everyone I know is getting sick of talking about it with me, so voila...this is going to be my home for the next how many months!! And then hopefully I can stick around make some friends and do some cruises on my own! ;)

My email is rhiwork@gmail.com

I am canadian....

OH I have two questions... Why with a travel agent.. I need a discount.....the travel agents here have no discount.

If I fly in on my own..are the ground transfers important..

Disney Insurance..does it rock?

Lastly flights.....flying out of saskatchewan...what is the best way to do that?

Hi Rhiluvsd, Welcome :) to our family, this is such a lovely group here on this thread. Everyone has unique and wonderful personalities.

Looks like our girls will have many friends :thumbsup2 , our daughters will be 6 on Halloween.

Wish I could help you with all your questions. What I can tell you is that we never took insurance for any vacation. It seems to cover only certain things and I know for us our insurance health wise is covered by our own agency. We are flying down 2 days early to avoid any flight delays, this way what we were going to spend for insurance we are able to use for the Resort.

We always book directly through Disney on-line for many reasons . One being last time I needed to change to a different room that became available and my Travel agency was closed over the weekend . I called the cruise line and they said they could do nothing because I needed to do it though my travel agent. Well I lost out because they were closed till Monday.

I am sure they are others on this board that can help you more. I know PJpoohbear has lots of great information for you What I told you above is only my experiences.

"flying out of Saskatchewan"....Being dyslexic I'd settle for being able to read what the word said let alone where the place is.... :rotfl2:

Welcome Rhiluvsd:welcome: Sometimes the travel agent gives you ship credit. Its cold and windt in south Jersey but not as cold as Saskatchwan.34 more days till we leave for Florida

Oh I am sure this cruise is going to be the start of something....

Though I have heard tons of people say that my girls are too young for most of the excursions....

What do the kids do during the days.....what kind of hours can they stay in their club....and what about palo's?

With the exception of Embarkation Day, the operating hours for the Oceaneer Club and Lab are 9:00 am to midnight or 1:00 am. Later in the evening, mats are provided for younger children whose parents may be out past the little one's bedtime.
Ages 3-7

Oceaneers Club
Children are grouped into two age categories, 3 to 4 and 5 to 7-year-olds. The littlest tykes can choose from some of these fun activities:

 • Storytime with Belle - children get to act out the parts as Belle reads them one of her favorite tales.
The 5 to 7 year-olds can take part in special activities just for them, including:
 • Detective School -- children look for clues, view slides, take fingerprints and perform other fun tasks as they try and solve a mystery.
 • To Infinity & Beyond - Space Rangers get to help Buzz as he journeys throughout the galaxy.
 • Eggsperiments -- discover the amazing things you can do with an ordinary household egg in this activity for young scientists.
 • Picture This - create a special picture frame to capture vacation memories.
Most of the shore excursions are for ages 5 and up. My girls were only 4 at the time of sailing and Holly did great. McKenna on the other not so well. We were paged often because she was very sad and wanted to be with us. Nightlife for my DH and I was little to nothing so this time thank goodness my parents are coming along , Grandma already said McKenna can stay with her at night so my Dad, Barry and I can enjoy some of those later shows.

The girls ate with the Oceaneers group while Barry and I enjoyed Palos. Make sure you are on-line to book Palos at 3:00 am EST the day your are finally able to book. The good time spots go quickly.
