Just checkin' in and trying to CUOP.........I don't think I'll ever catch up:crazy2:

I only live about 30 minutes from Disney, in between Tampa and Orlando, If anyone needs me to bring anything for them it will be my pleasure as we are going to drive up the day before the cruise and stay in Port Canaveral. We will have plenty of room since we are driving ourselves. I'd be more than happy to pick up any needed items that you don't want to travel with. If there is anything else I can do just ask, I have been to MK a ZILLION times and have visited ALL the other parks more times than I can count ( Florida Resident annual passes make it SO nice, and affordable too.) We have stayed at all the properties and also camped several times. I hope I can give some sort of insight, or answer any questions for you since you all have been so very generous with yours. I am soooo excited to go on this cruise.....Now I wonder why in the world did I wait so long to indulge........I have a feeling we will become REGULARS on DCL after this one:cool1:

Thanks again to all of you for your insights and somewhat interesting posts:rolleyes1

Pam

We never came close on the BIG ONE but I figure this time we got it in the bag :) . I think you may all have to come and pull me out of Bingo so I can experience more. I think I missed out on alot, sitting at the Bingo sessions everyday . Hey a dollar and a dream:scratchin

Ronnie, How many days are you coming to Florida for before the cruise? Are you staying after the cruise also?

Paula - tell Ethan Congrats

PAM,PAM,PAM WHAT HAVE YOU DONE DEAR....:rotfl2:

Right question 1

i need a pass for 1 1/2 days at UV,half day at seaworld and a day pass for bush gardens what is my best plan of attack?....pam we need you here dont go anywhere for the next 8 months...ok you can go to the bathroom but be quick :lmao:

Dreamcruiser, thats so nice of you
I think we will be sailing Disney every 2 years now, yes it really is easy to become addicted. Last year was our first Disney and after that amazing cruise I said I would only sail Disney now.

My five year old year old just said "I'll give you the tv if you give me the computer":rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: So I guess it's time for me to let the girls have a turn on here.

"Ronnie, How many days are you coming to Florida for before the cruise? Are you staying after the cruise also?"

Am CHRIS,ronnie's the bloke who drives the green DISS train.....:rotfl:

We get to the states on the 13th play in the parks for a week then back to back magic from the 20th until the 3nov home the same day,but only if "mickey" delta force manage to evict us from room 8034.....:woohoo:

I'm so sorry Chris, I knew that, really did need my coffee I guess:cloud9:
Wow, so you are going to Florida for quite sometime, nice vacation :thumbsup2

We're about to get ready to go to lunch and a movie. Ethan made straight A's this semester so I'm treating him to a day out.
I'll check back in later!pirate:

Way to go ETHAN!!!!!!!!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Congratulations Ethan Way to Go!!

Ok, so here we go

For Busch Gardens/ Seaworld...I suggest this:

Looking for unlimited adventure during your Tampa vacation? Our 2-park ticket is your best value.

With our 2-Park Unlimited Admission ticket, you’ll get:

Savings up to $25 per ticket.
Unlimited admission to Busch Gardens Tampa & SeaWorld Orlando during your vacation.
FREE daily roundtrip transportation from Orlando to Busch Gardens.
$85.00 all ages - an online exclusive offer

For Universal........
http://www.universalorlando.co.uk/tickets.html

Those listed above are the best rates I see right now. The transportation from Orlando to Busch Gardens is nice, a charter bus I believe. With the Universal Pass you can also visit the water parks, which are usually still operating thru October. It is almost always warm enough to enjoy them.

Oh yeah and if any of you have any additional time. Cypress Gardens in Winter Haven, Fl. (about 30 min. from Disney) is a great theme park for a laid back atmosphere. HUGE thrill seekers won't like it but it does have alot of "cool" rides, hardly any lines, a great ice skate show, decent water ski show.....My DD really loves this park because there are hardly ever any lines and she can DO ALOT. It also has an adjoining water park that is FREE with admission.

BINGO!!!

I am really excited about that!! Woo Hoo, something fun for me to do while DD gets some Daddy time!!!

How about 6 posts????????????

Seriously, I am CUOP so I just wanted to say, I am soo interested in a "SCRAPBOOK" time...let me know and I will bring some crop stuff. I love the shirt idea and a DIS trick or treat. Awesome. I am here in town so let me know if there is a way I can help.

The more I read the more excited I get.........is it time NOW?????

Oh, and I have never been to St.Thomas or St. Martin so if you have tips or excursion ideas I am here ready and willing to here all about them.

OH and are there any pin traders among us?? DD got into this 2 years ago and has quite a few. Is it worth bringing her lanyard on the cruise???

On the pin trading, yes, there is pin trading in the shops and a officers pin trading night, but this depend on the health status of the ship. If all is healthy pin trading will happen. If there has been illness on the ship, our cruise or the one before ours, there may not be pin trading.

Pam , is that 7 posts? I think someone finally topped me. :cheer2:

Good do I have a Bingo buddy? I sat there by myself most of the time last cruise . We will have to get a drink or two, seems to ease the pain when you don't win  , however we are going to WIN :woohoo:

We have been to St Thomas 8 times, I am finally going to break down and go to Megans Bay. St Johns is wonderful if you like to snorkle or take a nature hike.We did Coral World last time and Coki Beach, it was drizzling most of the day but the sun came out now and then , this was the first time we ever had rain there.

St Marteen - DH and I had a BLAST on the Rhino Riders that I think we are doing it again . Those things are pretty fast . I let him drive because I know I can't. They took us to a quiet cove where we snorkled and went to a beach, there was noone on it. We had fun racing others through the Bay . If anyone else is going on this please let us know , it seems the more the Merry with this one. This is one of the best excursions we have ever been on.

On St Thomas we are doing the Doubloon Sail and Snorkel. This is where you ride on a "pirate" ship to snorkel with the sea turtles. That has always been a dream of mine! Then on the way back they break out the RUUUUUM for the big kids and let the little kids sip on Cokes and "sail" the ship. Oh yeah, they also tattoo you! If we have enough time we are going to go to Blackbeard's Castle. Ethan is obesessed with pirates *and his mom is obsessed with a CERTAIN pirate* and I thought he'd like this.

St Maarten is kinda up in the air. I really want to go to the beach at the end of the runway and check that out. Last time we were there Ethan was smaller so we just stayed at the beach by the boat. It was great for him, calm and shallow waters. This time we are heading out! I think he'd get a kick out of the planes almost landing on his head!

Castaway Cay is going to be an "us" morning and an "alone" afternoon. I'm thinking of signing up for the Eco Tour. I've read about this on a trip report where you get on jet skiis and tour around the island. Then they take you about a mile out and you get off your jet skiis onto a sandbar! So you are in the middle of the ocean on a sandbar! I thought that'd be cool! Then it's off to Scuttle's Cove for Ethan and Serenity Bay for mommy and hopefully my DIS friends will have a hammock and a Konch Kooler waiting on me!pirate:

'Twas quite foggy here this morning.
As I went for the paper, the walk seemed unusually long.
Next thing I knew, there was a gentleman in the mist, about 12 stones.
He tipped his hat, and silently moved off into the grey morning.
As he departed, I heard him speaking about his upcoming October holiday....

Long, busy weekend at work. Training a new staff member today, instead of being off. Too much staring at the computer. :surfweb: Must rest the eyes before I compete in an annual invitational rifle match this weekend. As I crashed into bed the last 2 nights, DW would relay the DIS 'o the day. To catch up:
I'm originally from the Binghamton area of upstate NY. A town called Vestal.
Mom and Dad have a place in the Finger Lakes region. :cloud9:
Gent, meant to tell you when I saw you this am :lmao: -we stayed at AKL the night before our 2005 cruise. Last fall, it was CR with an MK view. Both quite nice. CR had the added bonus of seeing the fireworks every night, but without MNSSHP park pass fees. They pipe in the audio over a TV channel in your room. If its Monday, then it must be time to launder the towels! :laundy: gotta go.
Have a nice evening, all!
Sean :groom:

OhSoDisney.......YOU SOOO HAVE A BINGO BUDDY,loL
My DD is going to be 8 when we cruise. How old are your daughters? My DD is afraid she won't make friends ( she always does though, not a shy bone in her body)

What a Rhino Riders? Jet Skis? We have not booked any excursions yet so thanks for giving me a heads up on some good ones. They all sound like alot of fun.

I have a Bingo Buddy :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: I know we are going to win. I played Bingo on RCCL almost everyday and all I won was this lousy tee shirt :rotfl2:

P1010207.jpg

Let me tell you all that I know I am getting older when I am posting these aweful pics of myself especially without make-up on , what am I thinking?, 10 years ago NO WAY !!!! After seeing the RCCL pictures I grew my hair back out  Anyone else like to share their bed head pictures or your spouses? :rotfl:

My Daughters will be 6 and would absolutety LOVE to have an older friend . Holly is Miss social lite, McKenna is more shy.

Oh Chris this is what Barry and the girls had to resort to on the RCCL cruise. Told you no entertainment but our own
P1010190.jpg

The Rhino Riders are inflatable jet skis, well thats how I would describe them. I couldn't believe how fast they went for being a blow up toy

Padisney. Barry did alot of work down in Binghamton and Vestal when they got all that flooding . Our friends live in Unidilla. We are just outside of Syracuse . GO ORANGE :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Paula , if my Dad and Barry decide to do the Eco tour in St Johns the girls and i may join you on the pirate ship, that sounds like fun. I will have to see what my Mom is planning thou. I am not so sure about the turtle part. We did the Stingray swim in Grand Caymen and I was on Barry's back for the whole time except for the 2 seconds I tried to put my down.
