Paula - great haul on black Friday!! You did awesome! I, of course, was in the land of the lost down in KY. My Dad's small town has a Kmart. That's it. Kmart. Nothing else... it's at least an hour to drive to WalMart... and another 1/2 hour to get to civilized stores like Best Buy, etc... Since shopping is my Dad's LEAST favorite thing to do and Noah's shopping is all done, I didn't go shopping.

I spent quality time with my Dad. He's going to be 81 next Monday and he's doing great! I never believe it until I can see him. Older people tend to lie to their children about their ailments.... at least my Dad does.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving (for those that celebrated) and for those that didn't - I hope you had a great weekend as well! I'm so glad to be home!

Glad you had a great trip and your dad is doing good! It was something to do once, but unless I see a good deal like this time, I don't think I'd get up that early again!

Well, I thought going to get a tree would be an adventure but it was actually pretty calm. The crowds must've hit on Friday and Saturday b/c the trees were slim pickings. I still found the perfect one though. There was a family with short sleeves on carrying sweaters when we pulled up. I wondered what they were doing. I saw them later putting their sweaters on with the kids comoplaining it was too hot. The mom yelled at them and said it was for their Christmas cards so they had to look cold. I wish I could get one of those cards! Other than that, nothing exciting. Oh well, I guess I can't have a big adventure everywhere I go!

Wow, don't look at the board for a week or two and live sure goes by.... I didn't think it had been that lone, but when I checked to see what date I read my last post on this board it was all the way back to 11/7!

Been busy - kids sports, girl scouts, mother's club.... you know, the stuff that keeps us all busy.... and work too.

Just spent the last 4 days decorating the inside of my house for the holidays. I live on a street where we decorate and have an official city kick-off lighting on December 10th - where Santa comes on top of the fire truck. It's lots of fun, but lots of work too. I'll figure out how to post a couple pics. We have over 50 big boxes of stuff for the inside and outside. I collect Dept. 56 houses and have about 60 of those to set up not to mention all of my disney stuff of ornaments and figurines - oh am I tired - and we haven't even started the outside!

Anyhow, hope all are well!

Kim am told the place were going (Sun Village Resort & Spa) is VERY nice,clean,smart and posh and as we say over here "you pay's your money's and take yer chance".....And if it's pants we've still got the little fella with the bloody big ears to look forward to.....

Hey everyone!

I watched the travel channel Disney Cruise Line special for the gazillionth time last night... gosh ... is it time yet?

I'm working out as much as I can... swimming with Noah to help get rid of his "beer belly". Root beer of course! Actually, it's more of a milk belly...

Anyway... I have 2 dates coming up! I re-opened my eHarmony account and have two promising interests. Hmmmmmm.... we'll see. I've gotten my heart broken so much this year I can't believe I'm putting it out there again, but hey.... to find a Disney Prince one must search high and low!

First one is tomorrow night for "coffee" only... we'll see what happens from there. Wish me luck!
