So, anyone else want to fess up about the cruisecritic board? Beuller? Beuller? LOL!

How can we change the title to our thread to read Cruising Around the Moon All Hallow's Eve 2007? Can we change it or do we have to track down original poster and get her to change it? :confused3

I'm thinking of booking this cruise, but I'm just wondering if anyone knows why it's more than booking the same cruise for 2006? Any reason? I would think the 2007 would be cheaper, since it's more than a year away, but 2006 Halloween cruise have better deals. :confused3

This is my first time cruising with DCL so I can't really help answer your question. I can only speculate that maybe the prices are being raised next year for some reason. I hope you join us as we are going to have fun!

Hey PJ, thanks :grouphug: glad the heat wave has finally broke eh??? WOW...... I have to get on that cruise talk thingy with you guys one night....was it Friday or Sunday??? Can't remember.

Looks like my James maybe going home tomorrow night. :furious:

Welcome!!!!!!!!!

I do go on to cruisecritic alot but I have a different user name.....

I believe the original poster has to change the name.

Kim1 and PJ, if you get a chance maybe you can redo those shirt designs to incorporate our new name????? I have no idea how to do it.

Why do I get the feeling that there are only going to be about 4 families on this cruise? LOL! Come on peeps! Come out of lurkdom and join us  . We don't bite! Although, it would be kinda cool to have the ship to ourselves :rotfl2: pirate:

Hey V, it is three kims and you and me. So, we are already at 5, lol.

Pj

Ps. I surf CC for good tips and I have a sign in name, but have posted only once.

Opps! I have to say Babs, that this year's cruise is crazy, over 3000 posts in one week, eek! Makes my head spin.

I have to agree with PJ. I was on chat with her group one night and they are a wild and crazy bunch. I guess since I saw how many ppl are going on that one I compare it with ours. I shouldn't complain, at least we will have someone else we know and it's stll early.

Babs, of course you count! :grouphug:

My DD is KIMSUE and we have 16 people in our group maybe they will come around here to talk when it gets closer :thumbsup2 pirate: :grouphug:

Good afternoon all.

What night is cruise chat???

Gotta watch BB tonight....please don't let my James be evicted..... :wizard:

Bummer, customer came in that means I have to work....

Have a great afternoon all.

Kim

Ok, so maybe I'm jumping the gun, but I'm thinking about driving down for the cruise instead of flying. Not for fear of being blown up, just to skip the hassel at the airport. I know it's a long way until we cruise, but it's something I've thought about all day. I can drive it in 11 hours. DS travels great in the car. I just keep thinking how mad I would be if something like this happens right before our cruise and I'd already spent money on the plane tickets. I think I'd come out cheaper on gas by driving. I have a Maxima and get pretty good gas mileage on the interstate. We could leave that Thursday after school and drive most of the way and spend the night somewhere. Then we could get up early and go to WDW. I'd use disney bus at WDW so I'd park at the hotel. Then I could stop at the store on the way to the ship and get my beer :smooth: without having to worry about getting a cab or something. I just have to wait and see what happens in the next few months with gas prices and the security at the airports. Y'all should know by now that I'm a worry wart and pretty much have a boring life so I sit around and think about these things! LOL!

We drive from N.J. when we go to Datona for bike week. Its not to bad.

Do you ride your bike? I have a coworker that goes and they trailer theirs so their butts don't hurt so much. I can't imagine how bad your legs and butt would hurt after hours of riding! I don't know, the bikes these days look really comfortable, except the ones with the "monkey hangers". Those look like your arms would fall off after a few hours and make your back hurt.

I hope everyone is doing good today!

I just did some calculating and i could save 300 bucks by driving! Now I just have to decide if it's worth it. I'm begining to think so. I can just hop off the boat and into my car and head home! No more lines! Still, it's a long way off and a lot can change by then.

I have some catching up to do! It's been a rough week... Dad has left to go home and it was very hard to say goodbye this time. He seems to be shrinking away. He'll be 81 this year.

So... I'm cancelling Chicago next week and Noah and I will fly to KY for Thanksgiving. I've been pricing tickets. We flew down there one Christmas and it wasn't horribly expensive... about $400 for both, now it's $650!!

I may end up driving there, it's about a 9 hour drive but that takes away two of the four days for Thanksgiving Day weekend! :sad2:

We NEVER drive to Orlando. It would be about a 24 hour drive.... and we can fly in 2 1/2 hours.

Noah and I went to the Detroit Zoo today. Got some awesome pics with my new digital camera. I can't wait to take pics on our cruise! :woohoo: Is it time to go yet?
